a little over a week in, heavy use, mine works like a charm. Even dropped it a few times. The charger is annoying because cord is too short and too much hassle to pull sleeve and replace battery

Gonna order one of these soon as my shop has it. With all the talk of regulation in the UK, I wanna get mods sooner rather than later. Plus it looks cool, I already got the sig, but I like the way this has a Ti setting and joules, and is £5 cheaper!

Plus its size is inconspicous, so perfect for the supermarket or buses, looks like I could fit the mod and tank in my hand, and blow small clouds for flavour hits.

EDIT: I use a nitecore charger usually, but it is reassuring to see people using the inbuilt charging with no problem. That will be handy on the go. Is it micro USB or the IPV cable?

theres 2 replacement chargers 4ft long for cheap

loving mine as well
but y subtanks are not liking tc mode
so using my maganus instead and it works like a charm
Hmm, I wonder if a lemo V2 will work OK temp control? No biggie if it wont, its more for my drippers anyway, this mod does have a normal kanthal mode doesn't it? As I want it for its size really, slap a tank on and its a fine ADV that is inconspicous, that I can push higher if I wish too. But I doubt i will use it higher wattage, due to being single battery I know it won't last long, similar to the sig.

Its for its size I mainly want it, I hope my shop has some next week and I will get one.

Is there any known problems with it?

Ahh I can not wait for my shop to restock it, as soon as it is in I am ordering it. I can then compare it myself to the sigelei 75W.

Yeah... that was every bit the pain in the ass I thought I remembered it to be.
Those who didn't get an OEM sleeve... wait for an aftermarket one.

I'm guessing this is a P4Y creation because only a manufacturer could be this stupid.
I mentioned before, it's very thin... nice, but that makes it hard to grasp and it doesn't slide like all the others. And the form fitting makes it very tight. And, like the new Sig150 TC, is slips on and off from the top. No leaving an atty on while you swap the battery.

Sorry Dre... I'll keep it because I prefer sleeves on my mods (anyone notice how expensive the new 40TC sleeves are? Eleaf doesn't make one yet), but I'll buy a better 3rd party one for this if they show
I leave mine on. Makes for a nice handle when sliding the sleeve up. I've yet to get it back down without having to slide the battery cover back up once or twice in the process though.:)

Erm, the hole in the bottom is for the battery vents lol, put it on that way you wil see its for the usb port and the vents, you can leave the atty on when you change no problem :)

EDIT: I use a nitecore charger usually, but it is reassuring to see people using the inbuilt charging with no problem. That will be handy on the go. Is it micro USB or the IPV cable?

Note that I haven't charged it that many times, maybe 3-4. It's my dripper so I don't carry it everywhere and need to charge every day. But it doesn't get warm, hasn't burst into flames and is pretty quick about it (around 3hrs).

I've been meaning to wrap a ProTank for TC. But then I remember how they leak and am not positive how well sealed my IPV4 and D2 are.

And this quote of Lefty's may impress you...
"I leave mine on. Makes for a nice handle when sliding the sleeve up."
... but the 510 is the absolute last point I want to put stress or torque. YMMV.
Pushing straight down to slide up the sleeve doesn't really strike me as a lot of stress so I'll probably keep doing it. But I'd never recommend doing something you aren't comfortable with. It was meant light heartedly, not as a criticism or recommendation.

you can slide the sleeve about 1/3rd up slide the battery door off and change the battery instead of completely removing it

Glitch post... deleted.

Fuckin' glitchy forum s/w is gettin' on my tits.
Install an ad blocker and block all connections to vaporjoesnetwork.com. It's the ad's jacking everything up. I've got a few devices which I use to browse, and the one that's not equipped with an ad blocker is much more frustrating while viewing this site. The whole page loads, then it hangs while the 52 goddamn animated ad's slowly propegate.

To keep on topic, I plan to pick up a D2 from a local b+m within the next couple of days for my wife. Here's hoping she enjoy's it. I'm on the fence, myself, whether I want a D2, ipv3 Li, or Sig 150 tc to add to my collection.

D2 or ipv3 Li is better then the sig. Get the d2 for when you leave the house and li for home use. I honestly like my d2 more then my Li. Works exactly the same. I only use it for titanium tc usually.

The cover does still go on from the bottom on the Sig75 lol, that hole is for the battery vent holes and USB charging, Honest, flip it over and you will see it fits the vent holes and USB perfectly, allowing you to leave the atty on when you change battery.

Thats unless you want to use it that way, I see no issue with that as both ways the vent holes are clear and the USB accessible, just a pain with the attys if you use it upside down.

Very interesting comment. Not to disagree only to state that the awesome part of the forums and vaping is to see others opinions and preferences. I actually prefer my sig 75 over the D2 for the only reason being that my hands are pretty big and the Sig 75 seems to fit better. I tried the D2 in TI mode and I actually like the vape using TI in Ni200 mode. Its crazy and amusing to see all of our individual likes and dislikes. Life is good

I actually like my IPV4 for travel and D2 for home. D2 gets lost in my pocket. 4 fits perfectly in the cigarette pouch in my khakis.
Maybe I'll try to TC my AGA-TD, it doesn't make it top heavy like the SubTank. That sticks out just enough from the cigarette pouch and isn't bad in a front pocket (still have to dig for it). Could be a good backup carry instead of turning off my M80 and throwing it in my bag.
But if I do that will mean I'll need at least 2 more TC units.

On the sleeve issue, I turn it inside out a little, grab the bottom of the mod. If the sleeve has slid up grab the top and pull or continue turning it inside out. I'm probably taking it off to wipe up a spill anyway so it needs turned inside out.
Will that end up ripping it? Maybe, but I'm just using it to preserve my paint. I'm probably going to go for my first wraps with this one when some good complete coverage ones come out.
Getting it on is a problem with the battery slider.

if your battery door is sliding open when you put the sleeve on take the cover off and pinch it a little more closed. That did the trick for me. Mine is on tight and nice now.

I am thinking that with TC, I may actually need 2 of these mods. just so I can always have one that is room temp if I want to use something different.

Thats what I have been thinking. its a PITA to have to wait after you change out Attys to wait for everything to come to room temp.

I see Myk liked it, may check mine later. THX.
Wasn't that the fix for the same (minor) problem with the "4" models?

Squeeze 4 together all day, it bounces right back.

I ordered the D2 and received it. I only ws using Ti coil for temp control. I did set the settings to Ti. I actually sent mine back. When I would set the resistance in the .2xx range it just kept giving me no juice message on the screen. I had the temp set to 350 and I was getting so many no juice messages it was unvapable. If I would set the resistance in the .3xx range it did much better. The .3 settings was out of the range for Temp control though and was not sure if it would monitor temp correctly and was nervous about it. I loved the size and the way it sat in my hand though. It felt well made on the outside, don't know about the inside. I got an e-mail from the store tonight saying they credited my account and I could use it for something else. Didn't really see anything else I liked. The SMY 60 mini just didn't trip my trigger. Looked to much like a TV to me. Also looked to thick. They had Hcigar vt40 that was a nice looking mod, thought about paying the difference, but not sure if 40 watts would be enough, and I only use Ti wire so not sure how that would work out. Loved the feel of the little D2,but I was just nervous about how it would not work correctly if I set the resistance within the limits. Wondering if they will come out with a v2 that will correct the issue I was having and how long if they do. I have a burning hole in my pocket knowing I have that credit sitting at that store and they don't really have anything I want at the moment.

You should've asked before sending it back. The .XΩ range stated cannot apply to Ti. It works fine in the .3Ω-.5Ω range.
I had a similar "dry coil" problem with the IPV4, nickle and ridiculously low temperatures. When I switched to titanium I got to a more realistic 380°-420° range.
The issue you were having was you. They can't patch that.

I did contact them and explain what it was doing, they just told me to send it back. I really wanted them to check it and see if it was just my mod or was it me. THanks for the info. Think I will just text them and have them return it. Think I should have posted here before I sent it back.

I suggest always checking forums, especially with something new like TC or new mods.

I don't know why my Ni tasted so good in the mid 200's and not up higher. I think I'm figuring out the dry coil at low temperatures though, I think it has to do with how fast the resistance jumps above the temperature limit. So when temp is low and the liquid isn't doing much it doesn't take much to make it think it's ramping too fast.
Different builds seem to matter too, as does where you lock it in at. Before going to Ti I changed my Ni build and fixed it a little, I think fitting enough Ni into a SubTank deck was part of the problem.
TC definitely isn't perfect but in the 380°-425°F ranges I'm vaping dry hit prevention is working.

I just ordered #2.
Local doesn't have them yet. They do have Smok but my money isn't going to them after they lied about the last TC even though the top screen would fix my main complaint about TC (can't see the dry coil warnings).

Bit of bad & good news.
Dropped my iPV-D2 in the washer tonight full of water. thought for sure it would be a paper weight after that.
Took it apart and dried everything out and to my surprise it still is working.

I got my d2 today. Nice small. My only issue is in joule mode with nickel coils the ohms reading jumps. It has .15 coil reads it but won't lock it in. That's my only complaint

See i am starting to think its the 510 connection

try over tighetning the coil into the base
then over tightening the base to the mod see if it reads right then

So you lock it in at 0.15, and then the resistance changes? (I don't have my D2 yet, but didn't I read it gives real time temp)?

Read reviews on it. That there is no lock in feature like the ipv4s. U can hold the +- buttons to show the resistance. U hit the power button it shows the number it shows u. Then every time u hit after that number is different

@MR. MAYHEM

when you press + and - on t he D2 that is LOCKING IT IN
if you press + and - again you are RE LOCKING IT. at the new resistance. DONT DO THAT

Set it all up
press + and - it should read correctly DONT ever press + and - again unless you are changing coils

the resistance on the main screen will change as you fire because it is constantly updating the display to show real time current resistance
and display the last read resistance after you have fired

if you can quickly tap the fire button just the right way without firing
it will reread resistance and display the current resistance. You will never get the main display to show the original resistance of the coil, but yo can get it close, but there is no need to do that. Just + and - one time when you first install the coil and everything is at room temp

edit
the 3Li does not update on the main screen like teh D2 cuz its two different boards
