I had a Tempest that had an Over head cam 6 and it was the same year 1966 mine was blue and had a 4 speed tranny
I LOVED THAT CAR
I must confess, I was such a MoPar snob back in the '70s, I never gave this one a second thought. First strike against it was it was a Pontiac, and second strike was a the 6 cylinder engine. I never looked any farther than that. I had no idea. Mea culpa.
I still prefer a nice muscly MoPar, but I'm not such a snob anymore.
Muscle cars are too rare.

It's now a white board eraser.I don't think they use these anymore, do they? or pencils or paper

I sure do, had to do that a lot as a punishment

That was actually after my school time. Used them for work training classes. The overhead was the PowerPoint before the PowerPoint.
Wow, I missed yesterday... so many good memories! I never saw that ingenious spark plug gapper before, but I sure wish I'd had one back in the day, rather than that mess of little metal tabs on a spindle-thingie like a pocket knife. I'd have loved to have just carried that disk on my keyring.
I was fortunate enough to miss that whole choke issue, but I remember my dad "choking" the car when he started it, LOL! The things that went through my head. I didn't know why he hated the old Plymouth panel van so much that he had to choke it every day. It was YEARS more before I understood.
