I did as much as I could think of to do on Leon's site today. Replied to all his threads where I had anything I could say. Leon deserves our friendship, besides the fact we have a place to meet when VU is crapping out.

One of my neighbors placed a chair to give her shade during the process which lasted a few hours.

That's a beautiful property you're on, with all the friendly wildlife. Love seeing your pics.

Good just turned afternoon Family
Been gettin actual rain here but it come with a price, lots of lightenin and an early morning power out
How's everyone doin on this fine day?

I love a good thunderstorm, even if it takes out the power. I keep a candle and matches near my desk, so I can just relax and go with it. It's a form of silence in your soul, in a way. My computer will stay up for four more hours on battery, but when the lights go out, I shut down the computer too.

Hope your garden got a good drink.

I have always liked turtles, had many through the years. When I see one on the road I always stop and usher it off the road. I see punks try to hit then on purpose and that pisses me to no end.

I have always liked turtles, had many through the years. When I see one on the road I always stop and usher it off the road. I see punks try to hit then on purpose and that pisses me to no end.

Yep I pulled over one time and picked one up off the asphalt road, put it up on the grassy lawn. I figured it strayed from home somehow, but had to think that hot asphalt was not comfortable for its feet.

Another time I rescued one off the road and put him in the cooler in the boot of my car, drove him a few blocks to my friends who take in every kind of pet. They were delighted to receive him.

We have creeks and ponds all over this area, and San Antonio river, so I guess the turtles get lost.
