Hi everyone.

You may remember I had a little panic a while ago, as my juice was turning white, and tasting "off", and was the consistency of something you would not want to vape, well most on here anyway lol.

Now, I am using glass bottles, and got bored of my daily vapes, which have been suicide bunny and mothers milk from Solub arome, they have always turned out fine.

Today I thought, OK, let's go for some apple. I used a brand called tasty puff-this stuff is pretty strong, so I only used around 8% and it tastes good, and used glass bottles.

Well-it has gone completely creamy white again-except, at least this time it is not lumpy. The last time this happened was with Melon by a different brand. Cola has also gone this colour.

I am using 2MG of nicotine on this little batch.

So, anyone got any ideas why it is turning this colour-the concentrate is green, so I would of thought it would darken, not lighten-it also changed to this colour within about 30 minutes.

I actually enjoy the fruit and citrus flavours straight off the bat, so I just give them a good shake over an hour or so, then use them.

Thanks everyone, Conan.

I thought tasty puff was for putting on tobacco.
I know some use it for flavoring but no first hand experience with it here.

That is one of its main uses-Chefs vapour stock it as a concentrate though, so I thought I would try it out.

There orange was lovely-just not sure why the apple looks like Jizz. :/

my tfa mangp and pineapple go cloudy but clear up mixed
Hmm OK, this is the opposite, while as concentrate it is green-but it turns cloudy after mixing.

I am vaping it though, and it tastes perfectly fine, something is happening to make it go cloudy, but it is only VG, PG, Concentrate and a little Nic in there.

I guess some may turn out this way in the future, as long as I know it is OK to vape, and tastes good, I don't mind the colour, just a bit odd lol.

Something is causing the flavor, nic, or pg/vg to precipitate in solution causing the cloudiness (tiny, tiny crystals forming). I'd suggest a warm water bath and look at the color to see if it clears up. If it tastes good, when then vape away!

Thank you, I will try this.

Here is an image of the juice though, you can see what I mean by the colour of it:

I will try a hot water bath, see if that solves it, and it does taste good, so I am happy. It is cold at the moment-could this be a possible reason? I doubt it, but just trying to work out why it is happening-thank you for explaining it is forming tiny crystals, that makes sense, just why is the question.

But like I said, as long as it is safe, and it tastes good, I am happy :).

Anytime I've made hot cinnamon flavors they do this, then the cloudiness settles. I've had a couple citrus flavors do this, and those settled as well.

I can tell you right now, just looking at the pic, it's oil. Essential oil specifically. Comes from the fruit. You are getting that because oil and water don't mix. The color is caused by the membranes of the oil and water, along with dissolved O2 suspended in the solution. The only way to deal with this is to stop using flavor oils. They won't work properly. Lorann has a great selection of flavors out that aren't oil based. Good luck with your juices! Vape on!

I have tfa that does this also. No oil in it.
Actually looks exactly like that.

Interesting. Next on the list of probables is phototoxicity. No, this doesn't make your juices poisonous...right away anyhow. It's what happens when things break down in ultraviolet light. Steep in dark places away from sunlight. If problem persists, try increasing your air replacement rate of the room you are using. If that doesn't work, find a priest. Your juice is haunted.

LOL just mixed, out of the brown bottle.
Need to heat bath it again, it does settle down a bit.
