The official unofficial Xbox One thread

So it seems there's a lot of xbox one take overs in other threads. So let's call this the Xbox One home.

So to start off my Gamertag is shutxmexup
If you're interested interested in joining the Xbox One dashboard preview program add me (if you already haven't) on Xbox and shoot me a message I'll respond "invited". It will take up to a week to receive a message from xbox, open message on your xbox to download the preview app. After downloading, register your console within the app. Within 48-72hrs the update will automatically download update (if you have instant on enabled in settings) if not you should be able to do it manually within that time frame. Mine actually updated while it was still in pending enrollment status.

Aside from that what games do you guys have? Maybe we can get some VU parties up and running sometime.
Right now I bounce between Destiny, GTA V, and Battlefield 4.

Also, @VaporJoes I know you at least Had a xbox one, you should participate as well, maybe even @TygerTyger.

I have GTA V, Forza V, Forza Horizon II, Ryse, Assassins Creed Black Flag, Assissins Creed Unity and a few others I can't recall..

I have not played in forever. Have not even turned the xbone on in months...

I played Ghost and AW but the COD franchise has gone downhill so I decline from playing them I also play the hell out of destiny I have a 34 Hunter 34 warlock and as of right now an 18 titan. I Love to do raids maybe if we get enough people up we can do one sometime

Y'all don't want me trying to do any type of FPS... I make noobs look like experts.

Now racing games... I did auto-x, solo I and solo II for years. I can do racing games! Reminds me of the passion my broken body just can't hang with anymore.

Tell me about it geometry wars is one of the backwards compatible games right now. Unfortunately I downloaded it with a gamertag I haven't used since the elite 360 came out. I can't for the life of me remember the password or what the alternative email I used was

I play destiny! I have a 34 hunter, I use most. Working on upgrading a Titan and warlock.

You should give destiny a try! It's a shooter with rpg twist. I consider it if borderlands and mass effect had a baby. Always something new to do.

I played it at a friends house. I was intrigued, but it looks like a major time sink to get anywhere. With a 60+ hour\week work schedule, house work (yard, general upkeep) and spending any type of time with my wife and kid, game time is sorely limited these days. Hopefully I can find some happy medium soon and work some play time back in!

6 ...and let me refrase alot ...I just got my xbone on Monday but I do play everyday after work till around 11-12 so it will soon be "alot".... And sadly no I don't have any expansions

I have a few games, but I mostly be playing C.O.D. Advanced Warfare and of course will be on Black Ops 3 when it gets released. I wish I had GTA but I bought it for the 360 and can't find myself paying another $60 to buy the same game especially when I could be using that $60 for vaping supplies.

I have Destiny and CoD: AW at the moment but don't really ever get on to play either of them at the moment. From time to time I'll play some Destiny, but mostly I'm watching Netflix in my free time. That is until BlOps3 comes out anyways! Lol

I'm in the middle of the Halo 3:ODST campaign from the Master Chief Collection on XBOX One that I got a free download code for being an early adopter and dealing with their released-too-soon bugs and issues. I'm trying to collect all of the audio logs, something that I wasn't able to do on XBOX 360 because I think I missed a few.

Oh man ODST is one of my favorite halo games hands down! I love the game play and the feel of everything.

I have it kinda turned me off from Halo 5. All the multiplayer issues. So it's kinda just wasting space on my hdd. I was just turned off by it.
The new game mode in Halo 5 does look like fun though.

I was the same way. Halo one and two roped me in and I played hours on both. Once halo 3 came out I skipped it and didn't even think twice about it.

When I saw the trailer for ODST I got excited for it and it delivered in my book.

I haven't played odst yet...I beat 4 but it was way to short ...that was a big turn off for me as I am a campaign guy.
