Firstly I'm a lazy ass...so I drip from the top for ease....I was worried about the centre coils on this 6 hole beastie drying out and burning....and what a pain it would be if I was away from home if it ever did happen.. no hot spots... So I use #500 stainless 316L mesh...2 inch worth cut...
