post holes

Hello i just got myself a tugboat I and i do enjoy it very well but the post holes are tiny with that said what wouls be a Safe yet accompaning bit size would accomplish this. Im talking about the posts not the air flow that will come later maybe i cant decide if they. Are to small or not
