rotating post

So I just ordered the Herakles rta-4 online. Should be here on the 5th. My question is what usefulness the rotating positive post has as far as building goes. Because of how it wicks I can't think of a reason you would move it to build and can't find any examples on Google or Reddit. Was hoping...
