0.2 ohms safe?

Hi, I'm new to building coils, I'm trying to figure out if the coils I built are safe.

Mod - IPV Mini 2
RDA - Troll
Battery - Efest 3.7 2500mAh
Ohm reading - 0.2 Dual coil 6wrap (ipv mini2 reading)

So yeah, I really wanna keep my face. Am I okay?

.2 with a 20 amp battery?...probably not the best choice of battery...You may think because the purple battery says 35 amps that it is and youre correct but it is a burst rating and not a continuos.

I recommend a Sony VTC4 battery as it is a true 30 amp cell.

As long as you don't go over 80 watts, you'll stay below the 20 amp continuous limit of the battery.
IPV Mini 2 only goes up to 70 watts. 0.2 ohms at 70 watts = 18.6 amps

I used to use those batteries with 0.14 ohm RDAs at 75 watts.
A few amps over the continuous, but still within the pulse rating.
Pulsing is what we do with batteries while vaping, not a continuous drain.

We should all just use samsungs then..those pulse at 100 amps...should be safe for anything then i suppose?..should make vtc4's useless with a lower mah compared to a samsung.

Ill use my vtc4's on anything low sub ohm wise for a single cell battery device anything.

Why? Just because more then 1 battery suits our needs doesn't mean that only one has to be used by everybody everywhere and never anything else. Life is about choices and options.

This is interesting to me as I made a 26 gauge kanthel and twisted it with Ni200 using Sony Vtc4 my build is on the velocity and using Snow Wolf 200 W now it's saying 0.10 at 50watts but the device goes mad when I fire it . All the digits move it's an amazing vape but starting to think this maybe to dangerous to carry on using any advice would be welcome it's the first twisted coil I have made

The VCT4 shouldn't be a problem, especially in a regulated device. Battery safety is more of a concern when using mech mods.
Your mod going mad (Ohm reading jumping up and down like crazy) is most likely a different issue, e.g. loose contact(s) of the wire(s) in the posts, or the center pin not making proper contact, etc.
However, with temp control, the resistance will increase as the coil heats up. This phenomena is utilized, in order to be able to control the temperature of the coil. That's also the reason for when putting your atomizer on the device, the coil should be cold, otherwise the temp control will not function properly.

Very true. But why pay extra for over inflated specs and a shiny wrapper?
