So, im kinda new to RDA, but i love it so far, and obviously i still need a lot to learn, but here's my question:
What would be the best wattage range for a dual clapton that reads at 0,22ohm? Now i'm at 60w, but i kinda feel that i would like a bit more power, so, how high could i approximately go? Cause the RDA does get pretty hot, is it normal for it to do that?

Its normal some RDA's to get hot, As for your question i would increase in 5 or 10 watt increments and go up untill u find ur desired vape.

This is all personal some people like a warm vape some a hot and some do like a cool vape so its a bit of experimenting untill u find the wattage u like.

I would run 0.22 Dual claptons around 80w i assume their 26g fused claptons.

Nope, they're regular claptons, sorry if i made it sound unclear :giggle:. Its a 24+32GA clapton, reading at 0,6 OHM per coil. Im using them in a aspire RDA, in dual configuration, so it reads at around 0,2-ish.

If they're rated 0.6ohm a coil u should get closer to 0.3ohm maybe check ur screws and make sure they're tight.
Well the same rules applies for a regular clapton and any other coil, keep increasing in small increments untill u find the desired vape.

The 32g outerwrap gives the coil a bit much mass, thats why u probably need to apply a little more wattage to ramp it up.

Something I've begun to do with my claptons is removing some of the wraps so the set screws don't have wrap wire in the way also to have a more secure connection. It seems to work so far. Your mod reads the core wire and the wrap wire just transfers heat so you don't need the wrap wire at the connection points, just at the coil loops.
