Spider-Man has one of the all-time great rogues galleries, rivaled only by heroes like Batman and the X-Men. Yet even after five big-screen adventures (and a guest role in Captain America: Civil War), it feels like Hollywood has barely scratched the surface when it comes to Spidey's enemies.
Hopefully Marvel Studios will make some serious headway over the next few years. Spider-Man: Homecoming will finally give villains like Vulture and Shocker their Hollywood debuts, but that still leaves a great many villains waiting for their turn in the spotlight.
