I will be mixing most of my juices 3mg nic. 100mg nic seems really high to get, but seems like it would last longer. Doing my research before I order, so any feedback helps. Thx!
Say I was making a 30ml bottle of juice...is it a pain in the ass to get it down to 3mg's?Another thing to add. Unless you have allergys get your nic in pg easier to work with even cold

Not at all - for 3mg you want 90mg in the bottle - which is 9/10 of a 1ml syringe, or .9 on a scale!Say I was making a 30ml bottle of juice...is it a pain in the ass to get it down to 3mg's?

Best saftey explanation I've heard for a while. Not really, but you'd only be using .9ml of 100mg nic. I get mine in 100, but you have to realize that strength is dangerous to handle so ALWAYS wear gloves. I use 100, but like everyone else said they dilute it down. That's what I do too. I keep the 100mg in the freezer and keep about 80 mils of 12mg nic handy and when it gets low I'll dilute some more.
There are plenty of calculators online to help with the calculations. Just make sure to ask if you have any questions. Plenty people here willing to help.
Another good point if you keep your nicotine in the freezer, when you pull it out of the freezer (keep it in a plastic bag like a ziploc) leave it out long enough to get to room temperature. That way you won't have condensation and don't get any moisture in your nicotine. But diluting it down is a bit easier and much safer to work with. I mix by weight. If I'm adding 12mg strength nic to a mix and go over a bit that's no big deal. If I go over a bit using 100mg, that could be a bad mistake.
I like high vg juice, how much would that effect the ratio having all pg nic base?Another thing to add. Unless you have allergys get your nic in pg easier to work with even cold

You'll need to use a juice calculator. Plug in an average mix, and you'll see how that will work for you!I like high vg juice, how would that effect the ratio having all pg nic base?
You ma'am are awsome. Carry on!You'll need to use a juice calculator. Plug in an average mix, and you'll see how that will work for you!
My mixes are usuallly 8% and I vape 3mg, so I can easily get 90% VG. However if you make 20% total flavor mixes it will be different! Many 'max vg' commercial juices are in fact only about 80% VG due to the large amount of flavoring.
The 100mg bottle of nic im lookin at says it's 100mg per ml. Now would i add that much (.9) to end up with 3mg because I fill the rest of the 30ml bottle with other ingredients? Sorry if my question isn't worded the greatest. Trying to make sense of this. Not at all - for 3mg you want 90mg in the bottle - which is 9/10 of a 1ml syringe, or .9 on a scale!
Yes -h the math:The 100mg bottle of nic im lookin at says it's 100mg per ml. Now would i add that much (.9) to end up with 3mg because I fill the rest of the 30ml bottle with other ingredients? Sorry if my question isn't worded the greatest. Trying to make sense of this.
I agree with most of what you're saying as it pertains to kids and dogs. But 100ml splashed on your skin is highly unlikely to make you ill - like it would it it was pure nic! If you ever get it on your skin just wash it off.The best calculator online imo: http://www.steam-engine.org/juice.asp
Set your target amount, of how much juice you are making (e.g. 30mls, or if only a tankful, 3mls or whatever); the strength of your nic base and its VG/PG ratio (e.g. 100mg 100% VG), and the target nic strength you want in the end, along with the VG/PG ratio you want (e.g. 3mg/ml and 90% VG/10% PG). It will in return tell you how much of each thing to add... nic base, VG and PG... to end up at your goal.
BTW, just a cautionary note that 1ml of your nic base (~ 20 drops) holds an entire 100ml of nicotine. If splashed on your skin it could make you very ill or worse. Also, since it's in a sweet base of VG/PG, if you accidentally drip some on the floor or anywhere a pet can lap it up, it can easily be fatal. If you have kids in the house I would be especially careful of putting it in the freezer. You might consider buying a small lockbox to stick it in, before placing it in the freezer. Not that they would drink it (I hope) but if they were to even come upon it and open it to smell it and see what it is, and happen to get some on their skin, it could end badly. Better safe than sorry. (I use 100mg/ml too.)
Good luck with your juice.![]()

I got a few drops inside my glove and didn't notice it until It started tingling lol. Haven't made that mistake again.
I imagined a young Billy maze voice to that lolHmmm, can't vape - just do a nic rub....LOL
I buy 100mg and freeze in small glass bottles. I keep a working bottle of 100mg in the fridge!
well explained. Thx!Yes -h the math:
In a 30 ml bottle you want 3mgx30ml=90mgs of nic.
If 1ml is 100mg, then 9/10 is 90mg.
It's pretty important to get comfortable with using juice calculators, because it's not hard to make a silly mistake and end up nic sick LOL Lots of people use ejucemeup - but there are many others out there (Google search)1
