I just picked up some 26 gauge ni200 to experiment with a tc build on my ipv4...planning on trying a dual coil build on my mutation v4, any suggestions on where to start? I'm after big vapor production, and I do like a very warm vape.

I'm not sure how low you can build on the ipv 4 but im using the snow wolf 200 and ive tried a few different 26 g wire builds. using 26 g alone i would do 15 wrap dual coils around a 2.5 mm bit and it came out to .08 ohms. the issue i found with using straight 26 g is its a very soft wire that molds well so its easy to wrap but your coils are very fragile. I started twisting it with 24 g kanthal to give the wire more support and preferred it much more than just using 26g nickel. with the twisted wire i would do 7 wraps around a 2.5 mm bit dual coils which came out to .08 ohms (what ive found to be a very good resistance for the snow wolf). right now im running a single nickel clapton coil with 26g as the core and 28g as the clapton rip trippers has a build tutorial of this called the s.o.n build he does a dual coil with the dna 200 which can build even lower than the snow wolf. for me i used the clapton wire and did 7 wraps around a 3 mm bit and im loving it. i would suggest experimenting with more macro coils and just be aware of the low resistance. nickel builds are still new and its completely different than building with kanthal definitely do your research on whats out there about building with nickel so your aware of the differences and little tips
