hi guys/girls im trying to build a fused clapton but the 3 strand core wont stay parallel it keeps bunching up into like a triangle shape rather then staying flat and parallel.Does anyone have any tips for keeping the core flat and parallel????

Try using a little masking tape on the end of the wires to keep them flat.

Go to your local fishing store and buy a ball bearing swivel, secure one end in the swivel and the other end in the chuck and put some tension on the wire as you wrap the clapton. When you're done if there is a twist in the wire take two pair of pliers and straighten it out. Your life will become so much easier!!! Hope this helps
