Sorry if this is old news.

I bought a 4 nine clone a few months back. It started shorting out and burning my finger. Finally after weeks of searching and reading I found the RIGHT WAY to fix it.

If the magnet in your switch is not recessed then that is your problem.

My mod came with 3 magnets. The dude who put it together for me put the thicker magnet in the switch, accidently. Being that was my first mech mod I had no idea what was up.

So pop the magnet out of your switch and switch it with one of the thinner magnets.

Also, make sure you have a brass to brass connection!! The magnets should NOT touch. After switching them you may find that the throw is longer and that your magnets aren't as strong. That is from shorting them out. The longer throw is worth not being in danger of a facelift...

My 4 nine, with a Tobh V2 is now chucking great clouds like it is supposed to and more importantly, safely.

I really hope this helps any 4 nine owners, Ive seen countless posts hating on it without realising how to fix the problem.

Enjoy!!!
