Whether you’re a beginner vaper or a professional cloud chaser, the vapor produced by your favorite e-liquid is always fun to admire. But for some folks, there’s an urge to create more than just an impressive cloud of vapor. You want to do tricks! That’s why we put together this list of tricks for vapers of all levels. We included links to Youtube for a visual way of learning vs reading if that is how you find it easier to do

THE GHOST (BEGINNER LEVEL)
Also known as the Mushroom Cloud or the Snap Inhale, this is a pretty simple vape trick. You simply exhale a cloud of vapor, then rapidly suck it back in. Sounds simple right? Begin by taking a drag from your favorite vape device. Let the vapor reside in your mouth for a few seconds before pushing it out in a ball. You should aim for a quick burst of vapor rather than a huge cloud. Once that ball of vapor is pushed out, quickly suck it all back in so that only a “ghost” of vapor is visible. This trick doesn’t require a huge amount of practice or expertise, but you should practice it by yourself before attempting to show off. Check out this link here if you want to see the step by step directions, as well as what not to do!

THE DRAGON (BEGINNER LEVEL)
Start off by taking a deep long drag of your vape device, but don’t make it a complete lung inhale. Forcefully expel the vapor through your nose, but also through the sides of your mouth and the center of your lips. This might take your lips a little time to get used to, as it might be a bit uncomfortable when you first pucker your mouth this way. The point is to get four distinct streams of vapor on one exhale. You can view this link here for a step by step tutorial as well as a final result of how the trick should look.

THE FRENCH INHALE (INTERMEDIATE)
The French Inhale is also known as the Irish waterfall. It’s actually more of a reverse waterfall, but you can view the link here to see what it looks like when done properly. Take a large drag of vapor and trap the vapor by moving your tongue to the back of your mouth, effectively holding the vapor in your mouth. Gently open your mouth so that the vapor looks like it’s falling out (imagine a waterfall of vapor), but be careful not to blow harshly or exhale forcefully. Your mouth should literally be open just enough so that the vapor can seep out. Force your lower lip out so that the vapor is forced to travel upwards towards your nose, all the while making sure not to exhale yet. Slowly move your tongue towards the front of your mouth to continue pushing the vapor out, but make sure you don’t push it out too quickly. Now it’s time to breathe through your nose; Continue to push the vapor out of your mouth with your tongue as you use your nose to breathe. The pushed-out vapor will end up being what you inhale with your mouth, making it look like an upside down waterfall! This trick will definitely take a few practice tries to perfect, but the end result is so impressive that it will all be worth it.

THE O-RING (INTERMEDIATE)
One of the most iconic vaper and smoker trick alike, this highly coveted trick is the stepping stone to do many other intermediate level and expert level tricks! But, don’t mistake its popularity for simplicity. This trick will frustrate you when you first practice it, but with a little perseverance, you’ll be blowing o’s for days! To start, take a drag on your vape device, but be careful not to make it a lung hit. Once your mouth is full of vapor, you’ll need to shape your mouth into an O. Your tongue needs to be lying flat on your mouth and your lips should form a large O. Then push the vapor out of your throat to form that highly coveted O! It helps if you do a mini cough, but not so harsh that you choke on the vapor in your mouth. If all this sounds confusing, check out this link here to see the perfect O's blown in rapid succession!

THE TORNADO (INTERMEDIATE)
This trick has gathered quite a bit of popularity in social media and real life alike. It’s a really cool trick that utilizes a flat pool of vapor whipped upwards to spin up into the shape of a twister. You’ll need a completely flat surface to start, like a large book or a countertop. Start off by taking a large drag of vapor. If you’re a beginner vaper, you can use a paper towel or toilet paper cardboard tube to force the vapor onto the surface. More advanced vapers can simply breathe the vapor slowly onto the surface so that it doesn’t disperse. Next, splay your fourth and fifth fingers (ring and pinky) outwards and place them on the table. (You can also choose to force your fingers into a tight salute and insert your salted hand downwards into the vapor). The next part is a bit tricky, so don’t despair if you don’t get it right away. Quickly drive your hand (whether it be the saluted or splayed shape) vertically to create the whipping motion of a tornado. Make sure that the area you’re doing this in has virtually no other wind (air condition, fan, people walking by). You can check out this link here for a visual explanation on how to perform this trick properly.

CONCLUSION
There are many other vape tricks out there, but these are a good start until you feel like you’ve mastered them. Some tricks will be easier to perform or harder to master, depending on your skill level. Regardless, these tricks make for a great way to impress your friends, pass the time on a rainy afternoon, or simply enhance your skills as a vaper.

What’s your favorite vape trick? Do you have any tips to make the above easier for vapers wanting to learn some initial tricks? Look forward to hearing from you!
