If you're remotely into Japanese horror fare, you're probably familiar with legendary manga artist Junji Ito. Many fans were heartbroken to learn after the cancellation of Hideo Kojima and Guilermo Del Toro's Silent Hills that Ito had been involved with the project.

Thankfully, Ito has plenty of other work to fuel your nightmares, and with a steadily growing western fanbase, more and more of Ito's work is being collected, translated, and published outside of Japan.

The latest of these releases is Frankenstein: Junji Ito Story Collection, a hefty 400-pages hardcover anthology from Viz that includes not only Ito's adaptation of Mary Shelley's iconic horror tale, but also several short stories about phantasms and revolting blob people.
