A good build for Recoil RDA

Hi Guys,

tomorrow will arrive my Recoil rda, but sincerely i don't know which build i can use on it!
i read that some one uses 7 fused clapton wraps, some one does that on a 3mm other on 2.5mm,
i have a lot of wires (excluding ka1 i hate it,killer flavor) 316L from 20 awg till 28 awg and clapton 26/32, nichrome 24 and a fused clapton made by me with 3x28 awg ni80 and 38 wrap.

Do you have any suggestion for me?

Id go for the fused claptons mate, either that or a twisted 24awg Ni80 is a nice build, thats what I run in my RDTA's. if you can make them, go for some half staggered claptons, got some of those in my Druga at the moment

So i will try the fused clapton, but 3mm 5 wraps or 6 wraps 2.5mm diameter?

In my recoil, I use 26g/32g, 8 wraps, 3mm. Comes out to .55 ohms. Run it at 80-90 watts.

Yes sir! Amazing flavor. The recoil itself is good in that aspect.

ok, now i tried with the fused clapton ni80 28x3+40 wrap- 5 wraps on 3mm diameter. Is pretty good but similar to goon.
Did you ever compare this rda?

p.s. can i see a side picture? causeI do not know what height to put the coil.

maybe another problem is that i'm running on a parallel mech mod and these coil are .17 running 80-90w. is it too much?
which power you run on your one?

P.s. could you kindly post a side picture of your build in order to understand at what height i need to put the coil?

At the minute my preference has been for 32 over 26 gauge 316L Clapton. 2.5mm inner 5 wraps, very, very slightly spread. Nice fast ramp up times and great flavour in my RTA/RDA’s. I have tried several exotic builds but always fall back to this basic clapton as it just works for me. What works best for you is all down to trial and error.

i know that is a good build but know i'm running on a mech mod so i'm limitated by the omh's law

Yep! You want your coils as close to wall as you can get them without the coil touching the wall causing it to short.

Height wise, you should be able to see your coils through the holes.

Now i have on It Fused ni80 28*3 wrap 40, 5 wrap 3mm, should i try 6 wrap on 2.5mm? Or Clapton 316L 5 wrap on 2.5mm?

i'm going to buy also a kennedy, in your opinion wich one is the best in fact of flavor?
