A New Nautilus! The Aspire Nautilus X

Looks like Aspire is finally gonna put out a new Nautilus. The Aspire Nautilus X is coming out and looks kinda nice. It looks like it is similar to the Cleito, but more compact, top-fill and top airflow. It's small with a 2ml tank, but it supposed to have the leakproof design with the top airflow and would probably look really good on all the small mods coming out.

It does look like a small cleito, but the coil design makes me want to try it anyway.

I'm a MTLer still using the the BVC coils in Aspire Nautilus and Triton Minis so I'm out of touch with what's trending these days. Are other tanks using the X's airflow design. Seems like a great idea, low profile and no leaking. I'm sure if an X Mini comes along, I'll give it a go.

Micro-Nano maybe, this thing is already a mini with the 2ml capacity

I like the design and coils, but I use my Nautilus Mini's on a 18mm pen device, so I wish it was taller and narrower.

Interesting, but everyone I've talked to about the Cleito (I haven't done much internet research since it never interested me) complains about it vaping too hot - wonder if the higher resistance and presumably lower wattage would make that a non-issue. I'm not much on MTL these days, but this might be a good Mini Volt topper for a stealth device...though so is the TFV4 Micro, which also offers plus-ohm MTL coils and looks damn nice on my Mini Volt already...

You're right, I'm thinking the 22mm X would look a bit awkward on my Mini Volts at 22mm wide. I just know I'll find some excuse to get an X, looking forward to user feedback.

Loving my recently aquired Cleito..and being an MTL user, this looks like it might add a little more flow restriction (good thing for MTL), and still offers the advantages of the Cleito (top fill, fairly direct connection of atty to tip).
I wonder though, with that U flow design.. is it a pain to wick the thing ??

a cleito-look tank. the U-tech is interesting, I may try to get one if I have more vaping budget, so far it's still on pre-order stage?

It looks like it will be a nice MTL tank. You shouldn't have to worry about wicking since it's a pre-built coil. Rebuilding that coil might be troublesome, but maybe they will make an RBA section for it.

It's still in the pre-order stage, but think it will be released soon. I was looking at the black version at Heaven Gifts and it looks sharp!

I just found this little review, the video quality isn't great, but we get to see a closeup of the coil and get a better idea of the size. Looks pretty nice!

Maybe I used the wrong term (Im still a newbie ).. I meant getting the wicking wet.. aka priming it for first use ?
I'm thinking the air channels in the "U" might make priming the coil more difficult.. ?

Just found a better quality review video. The wicking holes look pretty large, especially for a MTL tank, shouldn't have any issue with priming the coil. I really like how it looks on that Pico.

Alright, just got a pretty black Aspire Nautilus X today! I'm only on my 2nd tank but thought I'd post some pics and early impressions. It looks very nice and it's very compact. It does remind me of a mini Cleito. I put it on my UD Balrog, but the Nautilus X would also look great on small mods like the Pico, Mini Volt etc. It was very clean, no machine oil, quality is very nice, fittings and threads are butter smooth. The drip tip isn't standard and isn't removable, but it does have a removable Delrin sleeve. The Delrin sleeve fits snug and looks good.

Top cap comes off easily to fill, filling is a breeze. The air control is a thin ring on the top cap, not too loose, not too tight, turns very smooth and the air slot is at the base of the drip tip. This is a true MTL tank, the afc can be turned to get a very restricted draw, but even fully open gives a smooth MTL draw. So far the flavor has been really good. I'll post again after I've vaped on it a little more on it. So far, I'm really liking this Nautilus X!

Yes I love Vapor Trails! He always gives the best insightful reviews. Before I ordered a Nautilus X I was looking around for good reviews and there was nothing but crap out there. The I found this review. I should have my tank by Tuesday!!

4ml extension kit is now on pre-order, nice! Apparently it uses the cleito glass. I will be ordering some :)

Grimm Green gave it a really bad review
Hope he is wrong

I have a Nautilus X on my MOD right now would you mind posting a link to the video with the bad review? I have had it for 2 days and at first I was not impressed but it is starting to grow on me a little bit but the jury is still out here. I have 3 Nautilus Minis so you know what vape I am used to.

Thank you for your review-
I may purchase it to MTL- have not done it in ages but sometimes nice to change(doesn't MTL consume juices slower)?
It would be nice to have a tank that doesn't blow through juice even though I have 5 shoeboxes full of juice lol whole time I'm doing DL I can't pass up deals!
If I don't Vape thrm I'll PIF
I PIF so many things already now w the Feds jumping down our throats I want something that don't consume juice like a straw

I've had mine a few weeks now and have still been enjoying it. I DL most of the time, but I do vape differently at different times of day or mood. For me, it's a great tank to use early in the day or right before bed when I don't really want to DL. It's a good tank for stealth vaping for those times you don't want to cloud out a room or need to be more discreet. I like it for a quick out and about tank where I can get a quick vape, compact easy to carry and doesn't leak.

It doesn't blow through juice with the MTL and lower wattages, which can be a plus. It's not my main tank, but has found a place in my rotation for my different vape moods.

Well after using the Nautilus X for a while and frying a coil it is semi OK. Works better at lower wattage.

Thanks for the update Steve. Not many mtl tanks that one doesn't have to build on the market. Flavour is it any good?

I have found that flavors tend to like lower power lately and go as low as I can until I start to get a little flooding or gurgle. I just found a Sub Ohm Tank that is what I have been searching for and it wasn't the Holy Grail that I found. But not to go off topic with that by naming it.

Maybe I used the wrong term (Im still a newbie ).. I meant getting the wicking wet.. aka priming it for first use ?
I'm thinking the air channels in the "U" might make priming the coil more difficult.. ?

I have 2 of these tanks, and I absolutely love everything about my experience with them. The U coil is a dvc/bvc hybridish thing (in my own words) with the bottom airway closed off. The air comes in from the top, is pulled to the bottom passed one coil and rerouted back upwards past the second coil back out the top to the drip tip. I prime mine two different ways depending on what juice I'm filling the tank with.
Thicker, or sweeter, stickier or high vg juice: fill the tank, assemble, close the air flow, take a few hard drags and let sit a minute before starting mod. thinner, or high pg, or alcohol containing etc juice: fill the tank, put 2 drops into the air inlet (this is the bottom hole on the coil just below the outlet you can see from the drip tip when assembled), assemble, let soak a couple of minutes before starting mod.

This is my own experience or opinion. I'm not an expert by far. I've been ghosting the forum awhile, never feeling knowledgeable enough to pitch in. Forgive me, don't go too hard on me...
