ive been seeing a lot of those see through colored plastic ABS boxes for like $40 but they only come in parallel. Someone said that they'll re-wire/re-build one of those boxes into parallel. Is that safe? I never see plastic series boxes, so I have no clue if you're not supposed to use them

ABS V2 box in series?

Hey Ash, I actually happen to have an ABS style box I got for around 25 bucks and I have thought about doing that. The reason I haven't is just the cost, you would need to but a mosfet and a 15k ohm resistor. It would however be pretty easy if you look at a series wiring diagram you see that the lower contact for the batteries is already perfect for it all you would need to do is remove the wire going to the switch. You would have to get battery contacts and redo the upper battery contacts so they are separate and don't touch and add the mosfet and rewire, it wouldn't be too hard. And to answer your question they're fine I've had one for about 6 months now and it's been my primary the whole time, and I've built pretty low ohms on it and never got a hot button or batteries.
I just got one remade, put a mosfet in and all that. But I get pretty bad voltage drop. Do you know how to possibly fix that?
