Adding Nicotine to existing E-juice advice for noob

I purchased a sample of some 50mg / 15ml 100%pg nicotine from NudeNicotine & I'd like to add some nic to some local juice that I purchased that is only sold in 3mg bottles.

Is there a calculator or a site that can direct me how to make my 60ml bottles that I bought 3 of into 6 or 8mg nic bottles?

I understand messing around with high nicotine levels is dangerous however I cannot get this juice I'd really like to use this juice in my tank. I'm currently only dripping the juice because I can't stand low nicotine out of my tanks while I'm at work.

Any links or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If I'm reading your question correctly, you're just wanting to bump the Nic in the juice you have.
If so, 3-4ml of 50mg/ml, per 60ml bottle.

But I really need clarification. Those numbers are based on 50mg/ml, and you stated 50mg/15ml. There's a huge difference there.

I already used up one of the 3 bottles of 60mls of juice. So now I have 2 bottles that are 60ml's that I would like to bump the juice up to 6 - 8mg instead of the 3mg that it can only be purchased in.

I thought I bought 100mg / 15ml of PG based juice from nudenicotine because my thoughts were I didn't want to dillute the juice with nicotine so I thought I purchased 100mg, but nudenicotine sent me a 15ml bottle of 50mg 100% PG base.

I believe Amanda's site will work for what I'm trying to do. E-juice is starting to take a hit on my wallet so I've been looking into DIY juices & watching video's on what it takes. I'm sure I'll have to do more research but I can't afford to pay 20+ dollars for 30ml's of juice. In addition cook county is ( from what I've heard ) is taxing ejuice .55 cents a ml tax come January 1st so this has made me start looking into what I need to start making my own juice.

Thanks for your comments

Might as well go all in, if you live in Cook county. The tax man is coming.

Start by living on the DIY pages here. Lots of good advice, from great people. You'll be mixing your own in no time at all. There are plenty of recipes around here, and other sites as well.

Just keep in mind. When you read a recipe, it's DIY. What's good to the person that posted it. May need additional tweaking to fit your pallete.

PuffPuff, that's my thoughts on juices that already exist in 30ml bottles. I know taste is subjective, but after I looked at the prices for a starter kit for say 200 - 500 ml's of juice my jaw dropped. I started vaping because I smoked for 20 years & was tired of smoking & tired of paying 13 bucks a pack & smelling like shit. I thought vaping would be a cheaper alternative & for the most part it kind of is. I just need to start making my own juice. Not to knock any of the local stores that make their own juice around my area, but I've seen the people who make it & if they can figure it out. I'm sure I can figure it out.

I'm not going to lie to you. You're going to drop some cash in the start up. But you quickly recover it, with your first "good" vape. I recovered my entire cost and then some, with my first mix. So the second run was basically free.

Take your time, read the DIY. Write a short list of flavors you might like. Buy sample sizes for about $2 each. A liter of PG and VG to start. And you'll be good to go.

Don't make large bottles of juice. Make small bottles to sample in the beginning. You don't want to waste the supplies.

That 15ml bottle, will make about 120ml of 6mg/ml Nic base. That's a rough guess, but it's close.

Edit, cuz I flubbed that last set of numbers up.

If you had to guess, what would be my initial startup price for PG, VG, flavors & equipment?

I saved all of my old bottles that are empty because I had planned on eventually making my own juice so I kinda figured that I'd need to make small batches to figure out what tastes good & then make 120's or whatever size all depending.

I've found lately that my taste pallet is constantly changing, I used to LOVE muffcake & vaped it all the time & I ordered a bottle recently & I'm not sure if I got an old bottle or what but it tasted like crap.

Thanks again Puff

I started with 1 liter of VG and 250ml of 24mg/ml Nic. And 5 basic flavors from a mix I liked. I had less than $70 invested.

From that, it has grown substantially. But keep in mind, you can make 30 - 30ml bottles of juice from what I first purchased. I was fortunate enough to know what I wanted. And just needed to figure the numbers out.

That small start held me long enough to make my second and larger purchase. I have over 50 flavors and enough Nic to make 8 gallons of juice. Although I only have 2 gallons of PG/VG ;)

You don't have to buy everything at once. Hell, I still bought from B&M a few times. Just to have something different. But only until I could order more supplies. A couple of good mixes only carry you so far lol

Start with small samples of flavoring. This is key. There is no need to buy 4-16 ounces of an unknown flavor. The wind up not using it.

Most of all, be patient, and don't rush.

Oh, and I didn't have to purchase Nic the second or third order. I vaped @ 9mg/ml then dropped to 3mg/ml. So I had plenty left for the next run :)

my roomate already thinks vaping is worse than analog's, wait till he see's me looking like Mr White from breaking bad.

I can't wait to see the look on his face when I have all these beaker's & vaping equipment. Puff Puff, that's what I'm going to start with. I'm just going to start with a one or two batches & just use one flavor with each batch & whatever I like ( or prefer more) I'm going to make up 120ml's & go with it. I personally get tired of vaping the same thing all of the time, so I definitely don't want to make 500ml's of a juice I like because I know that after I vape all 500ml's I'll probably never want to vape that flavor again.
