Hey,

For a while now i've been occasionaly reading about adding 5-10% distilled water to recipes having certain benefits like:

From memory:

1) water enhances flavor, as its a flavor transporter like PG.
2) thins out thick liquids
3) reduces dryness in the mouth

I vape 70% VG so for me there seem to be benefits of at least trying this out.

Often when you buy VG, there is already water added to the VG, but not always.

Now i bought 5L of very pure VG without any water in there.

I created a few new 120ml bottles of liquid with fruit flavors and opted to add 5% water to them and test it out.

Not able to wait, i just dropped a few drops of water to my tank filled with strawberry custard meringue, and it seems to instantly lift up the flavor, makes it brighter.

Who else has experiences and ideas about adding water to recipes?? all input is very welcome :)

I too am interested in adding water because I have had tgroat irritation and congestion. From what I have read, irritation of the airway causes a build up of mucus leading to congestion.

When I was a full time mouth to lung hitter I used 10% distilled water. Worked best with 50/50 PG VG tho.

It's VG/PG not PG/VG

Don't see any justification in using water in anything other then max VG.
PG will do everything water will except it won't reduce vapor.

Water is not optional to me. The main reason is avoiding dry puffs. The difference is huge.
