Adjusting 510 pin for hubrid mod

hello there! I'm a bit new to vaping stuff, been vaping for about 4 months now and just learning some of the advanced stuff so please bear with me.

I'm wondering if i can adjust the "adjustable 510 pin" on my RDA (Hunter by Youde) to use on my hybrid mod. The pin does protrude a bit, but not as protruding as some RDAs out there like the Jaybo Indestructible.

I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks!

That might be enough, but it is safest to use only attys with pins that protrude well when fully tightened. Can you use it on another mod just to be sure?

The problem with adjustable pins is that the pin could get screwed back in a little through use.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i want to vape with good safety. But at the moment i'm in a very tight budget, my friend gave me a hybrid mod as a present and i'm just dying to use it, but a little unsure about my rda safety.

IMO, it the pin is protruding enough. However, you could adjust the Royal Hunter's pin a bit more. Just make sure when you put your RDA on your mod, that it's still protruding enough. As Roxy mentioned, the pin could get screwed back in.

Thanks! I got a bit of an idea to stuff a little piece of tissue on the screws so when i screw it all the way down, it would still be tight and protruding.

Depending on your coil(s), the RDA might get too hot and burn the tissue. A silicone o-ring might work better. However, silicone also can withstand just a certain amount of heat.

Thankyou for the advice! I'll keep that in mind. Does .3 build okay with it meanwhile i save money for protruding-y rda?

The resistance of you build depends on your battery's constant discharge rate.

I use a hybrid mech every day. I would not hesitate at all to use that atty on a hybrid. And I would leave it tight if that's how it is in that pic.

Thankyou! I feel so much safer knowing someone experienced done this too. Hehe i'll remove the tissue now.

Thanks again!
