Tring to find Great set of batteries for this thing.
Gone over mooches info can't count how many times and still can't make my mind up. I vape around 30 Watts most coils .5 ohm. Nothing crazy I would take a longer lasting battery than ones that hit hard. Most my mods last me 1.5 years with the same set of batteries. But I found my local vape shops have been selling me re-wrapped junk. And I can assume the usual big three names will show up so I'm looking for more specifics like Amps and mAhs and models. Please limit your recommendations to two batteries please.
Thanks

There are the ones I use. I bought 4 of them.EFEST IMR 18650 BATTERY HIGH DRAIN 3.7v 3000mAh 35A

I have a hard time recommending a rewrapped brand that consistently overstates battery capabilities in a number of their offerings - even when they sometimes manage to get it right - Efest often gets it wrong

Just my 2 cents

Samsung 30Q 15A 3000mAh
LG HG2 20A 3000mAh
Sony VTC6 15A 3000mAh

Any of those will work great for what you vape at. Efest are re-wrapped with inflated specs printed on the label and who knows what cell they used.

These are trusted sellers in the USA:

https://liionwholesale.com/
https://www.illumn.com/
https://www.imrbatteries.com/

The 30Q's, not sure that would be a good match, since they're 15A batteries, not 20A; from Samsung, the 25Rs would be better, since they're 20A batteries. For LG, my son uses the HE2's in his legend; works great.

I echo your caution about Efests; since they're re-wraps, there is no way in hell of knowing their actual specs, and what is on their labels is WRONG.

The OP states that they only vape around 30 watts. The 30Q can easily handle that. Mooch rates the 30Q as a 20 Amp battery if the battery is kept under 75 degrees C. The VTC6 is rated by Mooch as a 20 Amp as well if kept under 80 degrees C. The Samsung 25R5 is indeed a good cell, but the OP will go longer between charges with any of the three I listed.

I'm not wanting to pick a fight @AndriaD, just stating facts. I'm an engineer and tend to get analytical...:giggle: Yes I know, analytical contains the word anal...LOL

That's true, for that power setting, the 30Q's would suffice. I just get nervous about that 15A, since most folks nowadays do sub-ohm. :D I always make my son use at least 20A batteries, since he uses a very low resistance mesh coil, around 50-60w.

I love the long life of the 30Qs, but I vape at 10w, just a hair under 2 ohms. :D

The fact that they claim "3000mAh and 35A" is enough to tell you THEY'RE LYING. There is no such animal. When the mAh goes up, the amperage goes down, and vice versa.

I know they are not trusted by most people. And I understand that they lie about there batteries. But the ones I got for really cheap are actually working good. Really good actually. I probably wont buy another set. I like Sony's and Lg's. Batteries are getting cheaper now 25r's are like 4 bucks now. IMRbatteries.com Ebay etc... Just need to go to trusted companies and sellers. I highly recommend Samsung 25R's to new vapors that sub ohm

I used Efests for about my first year as a vaper, but considering that my first year as a vaper, 15w was pretty much the max available -- Sigelei had come out with the Legend, at 20w, but it was like a hundred bucks. At 15 or even 20w, Efest batteries are fine, providing you're not using a sub-ohm coil. If you're using a sub-ohm coil at ANY wattage, you're taking your life, and the lives of those around you, in your hands, using Efest batteries. The issue is NOT "do they work?", the issue is "are they safe to use?" and the answer is a resounding, "who the hell knows, since there's no way to know what's under that wrapper." It's a pig in a poke, and there is no way to know if it will work safely, or if it will set your house on fire, or blow your face off the next time you take a hit. You just gotta ask yourself, do YOU want to be the next "vaping is evil" headline?

Well think about this. They make trusting products that we vapors buy and they been making products for a long time. The battery chargers are very good. And the new batteries the new ones with the new labels are what i have and seriously they work very well. No over heating I use them on a 200 watt mods and rda's and tanks. I switch my batteries around all day long. And make youtube videos a stuff i wouldn't recommend anything i haven't tried myself already. But I understand what you guys are saying. Maybe they make them now. And not rewrap them who knows.
I started vaping in 2015 february and I been hooked since. I now review products for many companies and got sponsors. The vape community is awesome and i wanna say that about all of you for being cool as hell on here etc.

I use a beat up eleaf mod still as well. If it works why not. I think eleaf is a great brand. The new ones look nice.

You can't trust a company that grossly exaggerates their products capabilities and puts their customers in danger. I remember their so called 40a battery was actually only 15a.

eFest is a malicious company. Besides most cases they are actually more expensive than legitimate Sony, Samsung, LG batteries.

I don't understand why anybody would buy rewraps when rock solid, authentic big three cells can be had so inexpensively. Whatever "savings" may come with rewraps will never overcome the potential issues avoided with known oem authentics in my mind.

You just can't go wrong with THIS vendor.

Absolutely true; they're always my first choice -- but closely followed by illumn, who are also pretty good and have competitive prices on authentic batteries.
