Got my package I was longing for this morning, a nitecore new i2 charger. Well I go to verify the product on their website and apparently it's a fake. Can anyone recommend me a good REAL external charger? SOL til I find a new one don't wanna get jipped again haha

Nothing against the authentic Nitecore chargers but I prefer the Xtar Chargers.

And you can find them on Amazon.com so you have protection from a fake product.

I like the efest luc 6 bay pretty well, but also have the newest Nitecore i4. Bought that one specifically for the 20700 batteries in the Captains.

Hello, I have samsung 25 5r batteries, I charge 3 at a time. Do I have to select a charging current, if I do, what charging current do I select ? I'm buying this item because or your review and suggestion....no pressure .....lol
Thanks
Default is 500 mA but you can select after popping them in 700, 1000, 1500, or 2000 mA. Max though for 3 batteries are 1000 mA, maybe 1500, but I'm pretty sure it's 1000 mA.

My batteries are 2500 mah....
Can I use this charger ?

Yes.

mAh is milliamp hours, that is the capacity of the batteries

mA is a rate of charging, that means a 2500 mAh battery being charged at a rate of 1000mA will be fully charges from empty to full in about 2.5 hours

Yes, what I posted was the change rate. For longer life of the batteries it's generally best to change at 500 mA, but up to 1000 mA is alright every now and again. 2000 mA is also fine if used sparingly like when you need a quick charge.

Same. I have 2 Xtars at home and a cheap dual bay IMR at work for emergency charges.

Damn. I just got another D4 last week as my last one died after less than a year. Seeing this post made me check it...it's fake. I just sent the company an email and they responded straight away and said they'd take it back. It's a local retailer so I'll see how this works out. Now I'm nervous using the fucking thing.

I buy all of my batteries and chargers from Liion and IMR. I've never had a bad experience from either

I have used the top 4 chargers over my vaping journey

The xtar (2 different models, both 4 bay), the nitecore i4, and the efest luc v4 and the one that has lasted the longest was the efest luc v4.

It has all the basic necessities but it doesn't have NiMh charging capabilities (I don't think it does anyway)

But it has the setting I use most which can switch between charging all 4 bays at 1 amp or a half amp and for 2 bays you can quick charge at 2 amps.

Also I got an extra efest luc v4 on a Cyber Monday sale for $17
