Airflow?

Hey guys! Ive been vaping on an aerotank for the past few 7 months, and last month, my vape shop hooked me up with a mech mod and RDA. I have really taken to it, and Ive been looking at tons of videos about coils, drippers, and mods. I just have a question that I am unclear about.

Airflow. I had a Stillare clone from the vape shop and I liked it. I was reading everywhere that good airflow = larger clouds. But recently, I broke the clone and they hooked me up with a genuine SIG-S, The stillare had decent airflow, but the SIG has very little airflow (2 small holes) But, the SIG hits a lot harder then the stillare, and with much larger clouds. Why is that?

The answer really depends on your mixture of PG to VG. BUT loosely, the tighter draw means you're getting thicker vapor out of the tank as you're mixing less plain air with it as you hit. The other factor is that a tighter draw means you will be pulling more juice into the coil with a tank setup at least. I've not personally used and RDA so that may be different. I only use clearos and RTA myself, just because I'm too lazy to drip.

Better airflow only helps when the wattage increases as well. If its just more airflow with the lower wattage, its not dense enough. Its a balance between wattage, surface area, and airflow.

Pg/Vg ratios also come into play at this level. More VG = bigger clouds, while more PG = more flavor. Its a balancing act to find what you like.
