Danay Garcia officially was announced as a new cast member on Fear the Walking Dead at San Diego Comic-Con.
She plays Luciana, a character who Nick (Frank Dillane) meets on his journey to Tijuana. Showrunner Dave Erickson told Comic-Con attendees Nick is on a "spiritual journey" to find out "what is his place, why is he alive and what are the dead." He finds La Colonia outside the city and "meets group of people who don't see the dead as a bad thing necessarily."
