I was just looking for a definitive answer to these questions;
My brother has an allergy to nuts, will FA almond cause a reaction? I do not know enough about how they make the their flavors. Do they actually use almonds to make the flavor?
Furthermore, when ever i create a juice, i always ask people proudly to taste my newest concoction, Should i be asking them if they have any allergies before i let them try it out?

Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

Allergies are rare but possible. Most flavorings are made using artificial ingredients - however, the chemicals used to make the flavors are often same as those found in the natural flavors, so maybe an allergy is possible. Read this for more information:

My partner at work (we're medics) is highly allergic to vanilla and vanilla flavorings. And yes, I did find out the hard way! I had just given my boss (who I had turned to vaping) a bottle of Tasty Vapor's vanilla because it wasn't my "cup of tea". He was vaping with my partner and I, when she started having an allergic (anaphylactic) reaction. I was about to have to hit her with Epinephrine, but 75mg of oral Benadryl stopped the reaction before it became life threatening. So, long story short, YES, IT IS POSSIBLE and actually happened to me, but it's not probable in most cases. I also found out that my partner is allergic to sea food, but I haven't even thought of trying "Crab Juice" (and yes there was an e-liquid called that!) with her around to find out if she would have another reaction. I have limited myself to NEVER having vanilla or cream flavorings due to the fact that I spend 40+ hours with her a week at work. I also make all her juices and can’t afford the possibility of cross contamination. If a person has a KNOWN allergy to any substance, I would suggest that they stay away from it as much as humanly possible.

THANK YOU FOR THAT UNDERSTANDING.
I have a life threatening allergy to shellfish and PCN and had to make an ER trip or three due to co workers cross contaminating food prep surfaces or handing me something with artificial crab in it.

Depending on how allergic he is you could always under DR. supervision do a spot test on skin with less than a toothpick tip sized drop.

The one question that we haven't answered for you is:

"Furthermore, when ever i create a juice, i always ask people proudly to taste my newest concoction, Should i be asking them if they have any allergies before i let them try it out?"

As being a DIY'er myself, I would suggest that when asking people to taste a new flavor, that you explain what is in the recipe prior to handing them the trial sample. That way they can determine for themselves if they want to try it or not. It is their personal responcibility to ensure that they are not ingesting substances that could be detrimental to their personal health. Even though I felt REALLY BAD about my actions ultimately leading to the reaction of my partner, I was not aware of the allergy at the time I introduced the substance into the work environment via my boss. My partner does not hold us accountable because she had not informed us prior to the event.
