Will that message that it is less harmful be allowed to spread without hissy fits from special interests?

I am still bitter that years ago I looked into smokeless tobaccos as a possible alternative to smoking and fell for the ANTZ message that implied that snuff, chew etc. was just as harmful as smoking

At one point before I totally caved in to "fuck it I'll just die a smoker.." I was desperate to quit and tried everything but shock therapy actually

Did dip some, and it did make me crave smoking less, but came with it's own problems and then the false narrative that "smokeless tobacco is just as harmful as smoking" message, I stopped pursuing that avenue

I do find spitting, etc distasteful and it's easy to find an excuse to smoke

IIRC, the FDA has never approved an MRTP. They ended up rejecting the one for Swedish Snus, which are cleaner than this stuff, so don't hold your breath waiting for this one.

I always thought Snuff was inhaled in the nose as a powder and not used orally in a pouch like Snus.

You're thinking dry snuff. "Copenhagen Snuff" is a moist snuff that's intended to be consumed orally; i.e. "dipped".

Interesting because I did a little search but couldn't find a product description.
