Am I safely vaping?

I have an IPV4 regulated box mod with dual 18650 batteries. It's halfway charged and reading 5.7 volts. The coils I built last night is 28 Guage Kanthol vertical coils. The ohms are reading . 61 and I have it at 55 watts what I normally vape at with standard Coils. The amperage it's putting out is 9. Something and I was just curious if I am safely vaping? I have looked up and re worded about every question I had and still nothing. Thanks for your help

Seems a bit high on wattage and voltage for a .6 ohm coil but to each there own....As the battery drains even more it will draw more amps to try and maintain the wattage...Im surprised you arent experiencing dry hits more than anything.

If it makes you feel any better I vape a .6 ohm coil at about 50-55w on my V4 using the Subtank Mini..no issues at all, so I think you are fine...

Moving this to regulated mods since that's what you're vaping on...

It sounds to me like you're using a lot of wattage for a 28g coil - I've done medium-resistance coils in the 0.4-0.8 range and pushed them above 50 watts, but I'm normally doing it with 24-26g wire, just adding wraps to increase my surface area for liquid to vaporize.

As far as safety goes, as long as you're using good batteries (I only recommend Samsung, LG, or Sony with a 20A or higher continuous discharge), you should be good to go.
