I'm driving in the truck...and i come to a stop light. I decide to refresh my RDA. I start putting juice on...and just as I finish, the light turns green. I proceed to make my left hand turn...and without putting the top on the RDA...I begin to place my lips on the darn thing and hit the fire button. I think I learned some new cuss words today!!!!! Especially at a 100 watts!! Sigh....I have two LOVELY weird looking blotches on my upper and lower lips.

Don't drip and drive?
I can see the public service message
from big brother now
I use my Mad Hatter when driving so I can't accidentally do what you did but I usually just use a tank when driving.

I know...I know!! I had a tank on a IPV D2 sitting in the cup holder that I was using the entire time. EXCEPT...when I was at a light...I decided to quickly try out the new Kennedy I bought. Usually..the lights are stupid long in my area...but I guess since it was Sunday..they were a little shorter. I was done dripping. Only thing I forgot was the top....which turned out to be quite painful. Oh...driving a GMC...not an International Semi. No vodka..(don't drink)...Just thought I'd share my pain...with a dose of stupidity.

No one was injured or could have been...except my lips! Which now are burning. Had food with salt. OUCH!

I never thought to ask because they were in a store and not driving, why do you take the cap off to drip instead of using the drip tip?

Well....as I look down the hole...I don't feel as if I can hit the wicks properly if I just drip in the hole. MAYBE with some experience under my belt...I will see otherwise, but that is why.

Well...you don't have to tell me again! That friggin' hurt!!! I HAD A TANK SITTING RIGHT IN THE CUP HOLDER!!! I had been using that during a 5 hour golf game and just wanted something different. So you say..that I'm gonna look like a Herpes victim tomorrow? Maybe I'll stay in the house then! HA!

By the way...I love the signature!! Congrats my friend!!! That is my goal!!! I sneak one here and then...but it's out of a "what the heck" attitude, more than I actually need one. I have to stop that mentality!

I'm not a super dripper but there's a well your wick sits in that holds .25ml-.5ml or so, or would if you didn't have it full of wicking. Just squirt some in, what misses goes into the well, the wick wicks it up.

But like I said, I'm not a super dripper. I never removed mine unless I was replacing/fixing something. Maybe I'm wrong. The people at the cloud chasing shop were removing their caps all the time. Me not doing that may be part of the reason I wasn't a fan of dripping.

For all that, why not just get a dripper with a tank on top?

As @Myk said, there is a juice well in drippers that will hold at least a bit of juice and some hold quite a bit. I use just enough wick to have the tails in the well and always drip through the drip tip. Even with high VG juices this works very well for me.

I remember the last dripping and driving thread. My god I wanted to slap those morons that advocated for that.

And you're doing it in a truck? Is that a semi truck you're referring to?

I hope you at least have one bottle of vodka in the cab with you in case you take need to take a pull offa' that too.
Didn't he post a video on how to do it, I remember that!!!

Good, I was starting to think I missed something in how to drip.
Not that I would pull the cap off, that would be more of a hassle than dripping.

I have pulled drip tips to drip but that's because they were too skinny and spit if dripped through. Larger holes worked fine.
