Ammit 25 wicking problems

Iv been using an Ammit 25 for about a month now but just can’t seem to get the wicking right. Iv tried all the different methods found in basic Google searches but still no luck. I’m either getting a dry flavourless vape or a really nice flavourful vape but shit loads of leaking. I can’t seem to find a middle ground. Usually I’m able to figure out a tanks sweet spot after 2-3 builds but I can’t seem to hit the nail on the head with the Ammit. Is anybody having a better experience than me and what method are you using?
Please help!

I don't have a pic to share but I am using cotton strips (kojendo) to wick and what I do is cut about a 3mm strip and peel one side only and when wicking I do not fluff the ends or anything I just place them in the wick channel. I have never ever had a leak so I just continue to wick that way. It is more wick then I would usually use but it seems to work and I am running a single coil in the dual coil deck with the 6ml tank

Mine leaked until I changed filled method, I had my wicking done pretty good what I did was after refill screw lid on tank turn the unit upside down open air and then turn it upright not one leak in the last month.

This is pretty much exactly what I do. What length do you cut the wicks? I usually cut parallel with the outer diameter of the juice flow ring and lift the wick so that it is just barely touching the base of the wells.
I find that it only leaks if it is sitting at angle, say in my pocket or if I accidentally leave on its side. If I make sure to always leave it sitting upright then leaking is not a problem. Over wicking prevents this but kills the flavour.
I’m finding that it will crackle nice at first and il get a great hit but after a second or two the crackling stops and I just get a long dry hit, not burnt just dry.

I've had that issue when I first got my ammit 25. What I do is close off the wick holes and the bottom air flow I'm assuming it's cutting off air from entering the chamber. Fill it up then open wick holes and bottom flow.

Here is my Black one and I just put a new wick in the most important area is having the side hole fitted right it is touchy about it's cotton lol..I have a bit to much so I am going to correct that. Ok I pulled a small amount out and we are back in business, they really are picky. Hope this helps you.

Thank you for the great pics. It turns out I was definitely under wicking which was causing the flooding. I went up to a 3.5mm coil, cut a 2cm slice of double peeled cotton and did a Scottish wick method, all of which I copied from the geezer in the video above. It looks a similar amount of wick as your pics and double what I was previously using.
Wicking has improved CONSIDERABLY and I am now getting consistent hits. Flavour is not quite as rich as I was getting previously but I think this may be just because I used a little too much cotton and will slightly reduce during my next build.
Thanks for the help guys, this has been the only RTA that has ever truly stumped me!
Cheers!!

Here is my Blue one, it's been in use for a good month and several fill ups with my DIY Cherry no issues.

Hi,

Ive been using the Ammit 25 for quite a while now, but cant seem to find a proper way to wick it, i either get lot of dryhits or leaking from the base. I ve tried most of the methods from the videos but i cant seen to find the one for me...

Thank you.
