Ammit RTA

Hi all, I just ordered the Ammit single coil RTA along with the CoilMaster V3 DIY Kit, although I just purchased the Tobeco Super Tank this past Saturday, I seem to have a leak issue at the bottom air holes whenever I fill it up. In any case, I really want to start building my own coils on a single coil RTA hence my purchase of the Ammit.

Hopefully I have watched enough YouTube videos on building my own coils to try my hand at it. The main reason though is the cost savings over premade or drop in coils for my Smok Al85. It can get pricey if I have to keep going back to the Vape Shop for everything, you know?

If anyone has this single coil RTA and can offer some tips/advice, it surely would be appreciated. I bought the tank and DIY kit for $60, free shipping. Should be here saturday or early next week.

A couple things to keep in mind, stuff I ran into on the ammit. Make sure the ends of your coil legs don't extend past the posts. You might have to trim them then loosen the hold down screws and back the leads out a tiny bit then tighten the screws back down. The posts are extremely close to the walls of the chamber and snipping the wire 'close' to the posts may not be good enough. If the ends of the coils touch the chamber walls it can arc and make the tank difficult to screw onto the deck.

With the top cap, it doesn't have to be jammed down tight. Barely snug is enough to seal it, since it lacks any sort of texture, knurling or anything else it can be difficult to unscrew for refills.

Aside from a couple quirks it's a solid tank. I've been enjoying it, handles 4mm coils (which I prefer) with ease due to the large area for the coil between the airflow ports.

So I've got one recently, and I was a little disappointed. I've probably just been spoiled by dual coils, but I found the vapor production to be a bit light. Build quality was great, but I only put one coil into it, a 3mm fused clapton. I would recommend a bigger coil, there's a lot of room there. When I break mine out for another run I'm gonna build bigger and lower. I always find the V2of geekvape stuff to be much better, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some upgrades. With so that said, it is a single coil, and for that i believe it did a good job.
