Amount of Nicotine, Vaping compared to Analogs??

I am trying to figure out how much nicotine my body is getting from vaping, compared to smoking analogs. I have no idea how accurate this is. From sketchy information I gathered from various web sites I have come up with the following conclusion:

An average cigarette has around 12mg of nicotine, your body absorbs about 1mg of that nicotine when you smoke the cigarette. Smoking 18 cigarettes a day gives your body around 18mg of nicotine per day.

3ml of 12mg Nicotine Juice has 36mg of nicotine in that amount of Juice. Your body absorbs around 50% of that nicotine when you vape it, so your body is getting 18mg of nicotine from that amount of juice.

I smoked around 15 to 20 cigarettes a day, now I am vaping around 3ml of 12mg Juice a day. From the above information I am "guessing" that I am getting the same amount of nicotine.

My question,,,,,,,, is this close to accurate or completely wrong????:D

It is hard to be accurate as everyone vapes differently and nic strengths differ as well as how often a person vapes , heavy, light. Also with vaping, nic it is absorbed through the skin in the mouth so it is hard to calculate. I vape my juice percentages as often as it takes to stop my cravings and I know what that takes, so I don't compare, I just vape the way I do so I am comfortable and not needing the smokes

I do the same thing. I was just curious as to how much nicotine I was getting, I don't want to get MORE addicted to nicotine :D I found it interesting that the amount of Nicotine I am getting from vaping is almost exactly the same as I did from smoking (If the information I used was accurate)

Started at 18mg went down to 5mg, been smoking 25 stinkies a day. Had no specific problems quitting or going down.

There are some calculations like the one you're using that have been around forever, @RobbieR - I've found most are pretty accurate when comparing to former smoking rates, though I don't generally pay them much mind. In the beginning, I was ingesting considerably more nicotine than I did smoking, but it helped me break the smoking habit, which I quit because of the smoke, tar, and other chemicals more than the nic in the first place...

i have read that if vaping say 18mg then you get maybe 80% max of that nic level each time you use it. most vape more than they smoked since nic is absorbed thru the mouth when vaping instead of in lungs from analogs. atleast that is what i have read.

I believe the actual nic absorption rate for vaping is much, much lower than 80%...
