Anti-tobacco activist Dr. Peter Shields claims e-cigarettes glorify the act of smoking and are “against our culture.”
“The idea was, let’s send a message to everybody that tobacco use is not okay and it should be denormalized,” says Shields.
“Electronic cigarettes are glorifying the smoking act,” Shields tells The Lantern. “It’s against our culture of what we’re trying to promote. If it turns out that there’s some benefit or lack of harm, then we’ll take it off the policy.”
What planet of "culture" is this guy from?
Unless he is 15 years old then he has lived in a world were Big Tobacco was backed by our Government.
Our country's wealth was created from tobacco when we stole tobacco and slaughtered the native Americans to keep the plant for ourselves.
We then shipped it back to mother England to get the rest of the world addicted to what we now owned.
This is the history of America and will never be forgotten.
So this ANTZ even admits that the act of "looking like smoking" is so important to try to erase from world history that the death of all of the smokers hooked from the Government backed Big Tobacco of the old days (beginning of USA to 1995) is fine with him!
