Any reviews/opinions on the Herakles V2?

I'm looking at getting one of these, but I haven't seen much feedback on it yet. I found the typical free to reviews on Youtube, but looking for real experience. My main concerns are does it leak like the Herakles Plus is known for, and does it get a hot vape. I like warm vapes, but not hot. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

image.jpeg I have two and love them. I also have a few of the full size tanks but since getting the V2's they don't get as much use. I really like the top air flow on the plus but the short length of the V2 gives it better flavor, IMO. The V2 is also a lot easier to tote around considering its quite a bit shorter. The best part about the Herakles line is the coils, the work better and last longer than any of the other tanks I own. As for the leaking, so long as you first close the AFC and then the juice flow before filling you won't have issues. After filling, open the AFC and then the juice flow, in that order. I say go for it...

Thank you for the advice! I haven't tried any of the Herakles tanks yet, so I haven't experienced the coils. I have just about every other tank seems like. I love the flavor. Right now my favorites are COV's Vengeance and Defiant with the og Vengeance coils. Loving the flavor and airflow is perfect for me. These shorter tanks are making a big difference for me in flavor. My 2nd/old fav is the Crown, but it's a bit more airy and recently the coils have sucked. Loved them until this last box though, so hoping the new coils are back to usual standards.

Glad to help... I had nothing but trouble with my crown tank coils; I was lucky to get a week out of one coil. I change out the coils in my Herakles about every two weeks but have gone a month on one with out a serious drop off in flavor or vapor.... My next mod is the mini volt kit so I'm looking forward to trying out the tanks.

I love my herk +'s they are great all around tanks. I got a v2 and wasn't blessed by good chinese karma, getting one with poor machining on the top cap/fill section. Aside from the rough threading and glaring thickness of one side to the other, the tank itself performs very well and provides great flavor. As mentioned above, the coil options are fantastic so you really can't go wrong with either the v2 or the plus.

@skt239 , the mini volt combo is nice indeed, however the .8 coil is a bit meh...do yourself a huge favor and grab one of the .2 vengeance coils as they perform far better in my opinion.

Noted. Thanks.

I haven't tried the .8 coils for the Vengeance or Defiant, but the .2 coils are fantastic for flavor and vapor production, so I second BPROSEK!

Anyone else having leaking issues with the v2? I just opened it up today and the first tank i filled leaked straight through to the airflow chamber. Luckily i had the airflow closed so it didn't leak everywhere. Just had to take to a sink, dump through top fill, then empty the eliquid from the airflow chamber

Which finish is it, black or stainless? I've found with all my Herakles (v2 and standard) I get the occasional seepage but not full on leaks with the SS finish.

Is the V2 black finish. It was a giveaway win on facebook couple months back and received mine before the reviewers even got theirs it seemed like. So could be one of the first batches made.

Also realized i left the juice flow control open after filling it to let the coil soak and forgot to close after a couple minutes. So going to try filing again and using and when not using close the airflow and juice flow and see what happens lol. Fingers crossed!

will let everyone know what happens haha

My tried and true method for filling is done in the following order...

1) close off the AFC
2) close the juice flow
3) remove the top cap
4) fill the tank
5) replace the top cap
6) open the AFC
7) open the juice flow

There is also the possibility of a bad coil causing the leaking. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

That's actually how i did it, but left the juice flow open while not using with AFC closed. I have noticed that coils that come with tanks are usually sub par and more susceptible to leaking most of the time.
