thanks

Pretty straight forward really. I assume you have an accurate ohm meter and can confirm all builds... yes? Good.

With 28 gauge, triple parallel coils... 9 wraps on a 1.6mm (1/16") will get you 0.4Ω net resistance. With 27 gauge, the same wrap count will provide 0.3Ω net. If you want to model coil builds prior to actually building them, click on my first sigline.

I just used 3 vertical micro coils with 24g 7wraps on each. Comes out to a .1. If you use 26 gauge you'll pretty much be right around where you want to be. Triple parallels will be hard to fit into the positive pin in my opinion. I'm not sure how to even build a horizontal coil and get it to fit right. What have you tried so far?

just 3 horizontal and wrapped the negative like a kayfun positive worked fine. I've only done the one build so far and it was with 28g I think when I have time I would like to drop the gauge and screw around how do you like the vertical setup

I can definitely tell the air is getting to them. I like the vertical coils on the v3. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412380838.393138.jpg

Looks good I think I will try it like that thanks for the pics and advice it's appreciated

View attachment 12244 I agree with the vertical coils. I built my first one today and it's the only way I can think of that would allow max air flow over the coils. I wrapped my coils, fitted them on the base (without trimming extra) removed coils, wicked each one making sure I left enough to fill each well individually. And this is how it turned out.. Very impressed with my first build on it. Lol
