Best I can tell, Austria is vape friendly. But I'm wondering what it will be like going through customs. Anyone have any info?

I've been through VIE. No issues at security or customs...

I wouldn't bother with Vienna, however, and would go to Prague instead. Much nicer...

She's not going to allow that lol. I have to endure Vienna for 4 days, 2 days on the front, 2 days on the back.

Stephansplatz is beautiful around Christmastime, but it is a recreated city, as much was destroyed in WWII...
If you can get tickets, the Spanish Riding School puts on a good show...

I'm hoping to see that. We've actually come to the point we're having to trim our itinerary. There's more there than can be seen in 3 weeks. Now, if I can convince her to only do Vienna for 2 days ;)

I have to agree. The wife and I got to enjoy that a couple years ago.

Every time I have been to Vienna I wondered why I wasn't in Prague, instead... Vienna is clinging to its Imperial roots. It's ok for a few days as long as you have activities scheduled. To just walk around the centre, it feels like a cold, ghost town. Not because it isn't crowded, it is, but because it is a shell of its former self. Prague has never been destroyed and feels like going back in time...

Send a care package via Snail mail ahead of time to your hotel is my suggestion. I have never tried to take my toys on a flight, just worried they will decide to keep them at some point.
