Anyone have this issue with OBS Crius

So i have had my OBS Crius RTA for a few weeks, it has the velocity stule deck, i love this thing and no major issues but, has anyone noticed on theres that when you close the juice flow control the holes dont match up, so even if you close the juice control there is still a tiny tiny opening even if you close the juice flow. I mean even though this is the case,
Mine doesnt really leak, once and while i will see a droplet on the airflow but nothing to complain about

Colour me confused. One would think that, if the holes weren't aligned, the difficulty would be in getting maximum juice flow, not closing it off entirely. And, no: Near as I can tell: The juice port holes on on the inner and outer parts of my Crius couldn't be more-closely matched.

see thats the thing, when i have the juice flow opened the hole is there and the juice flow is fine, i never had a dryhit. What i am saying vuJim is when i close the juice flow, for example when i put the tank away when i am not vaping it i close the juice control, but i noticed that when i look closely at one lf the holes when it is in the closed position there is a tiny opening still which means if i vape it like that it will still get juice in and not vape dry because the its not aligned properly leaving a space even if i close it. Like i said oddly enough because of this the tank does leak but, one would assume that if you close the juice control thats because your in fact closing it so no juice gets in when your not vaping it which means it doesn't have a chance to leak. Understand

I don't see how what you're describing is even remotely possible. There are four holes in each part of the assembly. They are 90° apart from one another on each one. So if the juice control was turned 1/8th of a turn: The two sets of holes would be 45° apart from one another. Since the holes are way smaller in diameter than half the distance between them, there's no way I can see for what you're describing to occur.

let me break down it for you so you understand, WHEN I CLOSE THE JUICE FLOW CONTROL, ONE OF THE HOLES STILL SHOWS A SLIGHT OPENING EVEN THOUGH ITS CLOSED 100%. DO YOU GET IT NOW.

Call him a fucking idiot some more, that's a great way to get some help. I've got a Crius as well, and I don't have that issue at all - open is open, closed is closed. Maybe you have a defective unit, or are just seeing things - who knows. But going on and being rude to people who are trying to help understand what your issue is, you know, probably not a wise idea.

when someone tells me something is "not remotely possible" such as he did after i explained it , what does he thing i am making it up, its my tank i know how it works, i don't appreciate someone telling me"its not remotely possible". When in fact it is, because i was looking right the tank, so for some one to insult my intelligence is really not cool, its my tank and i know what its doing so please

when someone tells me something is "not remotely possible" ...
I did not write "it's not remotely possible." I wrote "I don't see how it's remotely possible."

And I remain baffled. But, thanks to you, I now see why: I'm a dumb fucking idiot! Why did I not see that before now?!?!

Thank you for the enlightenment!

Good luck with your tank.

Well he was doing it politely... Because I'm completely baffled by your question. It's rather obvious you don't know what you are talking about or are not explaining it correctly.

Screw the base on, till it's tight. It stops. Done. Now take the tank, and you can spin it 360 degrees 360 times to your heart's content. There is no stop. They are independent of each other. Put the outer hole in the middle of the two inner holes, no space left. So... I'll say it... It's not remotely fucking possible for the holes not to close all the way. Because there is no "closed". Either the inner holes are lined up with the outer or they are not. Spin the tank more. That should do it.

If your tank does not spin all the way around in both directions, that's a different problem than a slit left open.

When the tank is put back on "it does" spin 360 , and there is no stop, what i am saying is and excuse me maybe i am not communicating this correctly but if i spin till the holes are open thats fine, but if and when i spin it to block the juice holes, you know like it says in the manual to prevnet leaking when leaving tank overnight you can turn off the juice control BUT when i do that and turn to block the holes there is still a slight opening which means juice can het in even if it is off, i think it was just blunder when they machined it because when you "turn off" the juice control no juice should get in there whatsoever, so technically if someone were to vape it with properly machined holes if you were to vape that in the off position then eventually it will dry it cause no juice is flowing in, but on my tank even if close the control to block the holes i can vape on and on without a dry it, and that shouldn't be, and the reason it does that on mine is because it was probably machines incorrectly, and like i mentioned it vapes great and doesnt leak, i was just wondering if anyone else had matched holes when in the off position. Its one of these things thats hard to explain by typing , i really should take a photo of it, then you will be like, ohhhh i see what you mean now

Look at the hole, i have the juice control off, but because it was machined incorrectly you Can see there is still a slight opening for juice to get in even though i closed it

Well that helps.... Much more than your earlier capitalize attempt...

So the tank isn't screwed on all the way. Now that could be improper machining. Maybe it's just not matched right. But when you screw the tank on, they start that way right. And as you screw it down, until it's tight, they match up.

I watch mine. There are only a few threads. Maybe one thread coverage between holes. 2 threads tops. Judging by you pic, you are one thread off for a total of 2-3 threads. But there is probably only 5-6 threads, so it would be pretty loose. You could see if there was 2 o-rings keeping you from screwing it all down. If it is all proper, 1 oring, screwed all the way down, then ya, they don't match and are incorrect. First one I have seen. Doesn't mean there are not more.

Yes , and even though this is the case with mine it still works ok, i meAn the only time i shut off the juice control is when i am not vaping it and i use max VG so , the thing works like a champ

I solved the issue, in base of the atomizer , was not one, but 2 orings, theres only suppose to be 1 oring in the base, the second oring which was a smaller of the two was the the culprit. I removed that oring, put the larger of the two back in, screwed everything back together and now the holes match up. I filled the tank back up been vaping it , no leaks. And now the juice control is perfectly aligned

Hello guys I'm having the same problem. Bought mine from JacVapour SS edition. I can say it's QC issue. Probably are the threads to shallow in the deck cap. When I removed O ring from deck it sits flush. So or thinner O rings or a bit sanding the deck cap on the bottom rim. One question. What ratio e juice do you use? If I want to use 50/50 or 80PG/20VG would it more leak? And do you have O ring between glas and deck cap 'cause I saw some have mine didn't came so.

Da fuck man the same thing like philsubOhms had. Double O rings. The bigger covered the smaller. The tank is perfect. It was mine epic fail I didn't see it even I've removed the bigger O ring. Problem is they are transparent on bare ss not so noticable. And than my package was a bit chaotic. First the one of spare screw was out of the little bag, then there was no gasket between glass and deck (chimney) cap, while it was in the deck base. After reassembling it it is perfect. Tried to blow air with closed juice and air flows and I can say it's fully sealed like the germans say "ganz dicht". For 25 euros can't get better RTA. And one hint for the first disassembly hot water and dish soap and upper chimney part will lose itself no need for pliers.
