Anyone with a TFV8 using the Rebuildable?

I have tried both the standard Clapton coils that come with it and I also tried the juggernaut coils...I have these in there currently. I'm just not getting the flavor I expect out of this as compared to the TF-T8 pre-built coils.

Any suggestions from more experienced vapers?

Thanks for the reply. I'm using a good amount of cotton..enough for a tight fit between the coils and to fit down in the juice well. How much power are we talking. Been vaping it at 80w on my RX200S.

80 watts should be fine. maybe a little high for juggernaut wire. I have a roll but only used it once. wasn't a huge fan of it. Make sure you aren't chocking the coils. too tight is as bad as too loose

Yeah it's just ok compared to the pre-built TF-T8. I think my expectations were too high. It doesn't taste like dirty gym socks or burnt hits but the flavor ...vapor production is fine....flavor seems muted to me.

I think what I'm going to do is get me an RDA for around the house and then use the TFV8 when I'm out and about.

The juggernaut coils seem fine...they are rated at .3 each ...ohm show between .15 and .20 so 80w is only pushing like 4v.

I've always got weak flavor from juggernaut coils.
Not saying that is your issue but was the case for me.
I quit using them.

Maybe but I tried on the stock build that was in there too and it was about the same.

Anyone recommend a good RDA for my at home vaping?

While I have never used that tank, beware of packing cotton too tight in the coil.

I used the stock on they had in there for the RBA and it was kicking vapor as good as their T8 coils

The vapor is no problem...I can get plenty of vapor but I expected more flavor. Flavor seems muted when compared to the pre-built T8 coils. Vapor wise I am satisfied.

Sounds like (assuming your using the same juice) that you need more watts. try and turn it up a little and maybe close off the AFC a little. Flavor is all about the right mixture of air and vapor production. If you aren't getting flavor then it's too much air, not enough vapor from the coils or both

I'm running 26/36 kanthal fused claptons, 6 or 7 wraps I don't remember. I get good flavor on my RX200S at 80 watts, with the preheat set to 100 watts for .7 seconds.

Yes I need to experiment some more. I have some cotton bacon..but I have been using the organic cotton sheets that came with my coil master kit. I hear you on the airflow...I have been running full open.
