If you’re looking to pick up a new pair of wireless earbuds, you’ll want to check out this deal on Apple’s AirPods. Amazon has two models on sale for close to the lowest we’ve seen them drop. You can get the premium model AirPods Pro on sale for $179.99, or a set of second-gen AirPods for $99.99. Both are great deals, but the prices may go back up at any time.
AirPods Pro are Apple’s flagship wireless earbuds. The ones on sale are the latest model, a minor update Apple released after coming out with AirPods 3rd gen (which are currently on sale for $10 off, if you’re interested). The only new feature this model has that the previous AirPods Pro lack is MagSafe charging, which is nice if you have a MagSafe charger ($39 at Amazon). Regardless, these are terrific earbuds. I got a pair for Christmas and have gotten a ton of use out of them. The active noise cancellation is extremely nice, especially if you have kids or loud roommates or neighbors or really any noise you want to mute.
The most affordable AirPods on the market are the second-gen AirPods, which Amazon currently has on sale for $99. Seeing as they normally go for $159, that’s a remarkable deal. While these aren’t the latest-gen model of standard non-Pro AirPods, they’re still great, offering a seamlessly wireless way to make phone calls, listen to music, podcasts, etc.
The latest model of standard AirPods is the 3rd generation, which offers features like spatial audio, dynamic head tracking, and adaptive EQ. But if you don’t need those flourishes, the $99 2nd-gen model will suit you just fine I think.
