Note: I've watched all 13 Aquarius episodes and compiled a big Season 1 review here. Now, I'm going back through each one and giving and laying down an individual review. These will be short-takes though.
Charlie's mangled madness managed to screw up his big musical break in Aquarius' penultimate Season 1 episode. A chapter that also saw Sam and Brian actively pursue the murderer who they were told to stop stalking back in "Cease to Resist" after one of the gay men Brian met while doing undercover questioning turned up dead. It was a reveal that hit Brian unexpectedly hard (caused him to vomit in the last episode) but not one, I suspect, that will now automatically change his stance on homosexuality.
