This is a review for the entire first season of NBC's "event series" Aquarius. Though unlike other season reviews we do here at IGN, it's posting ahead of the show's official debut so it will remain fairly spoiler-free, as far as details and plot twists go. NBC sent out all 13 episodes as press screeners, so they were dutifully binged. As you may also do beginning Friday, May 29th, when NBC posts all 13 Season 1 episodes online over at NBC.com and on the NBC app, the day after they air the initial two-hour premiere.
Yes, NBC will still be airing episodes every Thursday night for those who like the seven-day spacing, but they're also changing things up by allowing you to consume them all right up front on the web. It truly is the the dawning of the age of... something something.
