Are 40 amp imr18650s ok to use

Have a snow wolf 200w just got it I was told to get 25 or 30 amp batteries but the shop I went to only have 40 amps are those ok to use or no?and also how can I tell the difference between pulse batteries and continuous batteries?

Most folks will tell you that no batteries are actually more than 35 amps. The higher the amp limit-the harder you can drain the battery without bad things happening. Basically the higher the amp limit the safer the battery is. But a lot of batteries lie on the wrappers, so its always best to go with a reputable brand. And never buy batteries that have the word "fire" in the name. That's just bad juju!!
