Are my batteries safe?

I noticed that one of my Samsung batteries is partly blue and then black/white on one side of it.

Is this normal?

Nope, not normal. It might be leaked juice under the wrap or it might have been overheated. At $5-$6 a pop if there's any question at all then just replace them both.

What Lefty said is the safest bet.

In your picture though that's just odd, is it a sticker? Is it part of the Wrap? If it's part of the wrap I'm thinking it's some kind of knockoff.

Stripping the wrap and seeing what's under it could be a good idea if you have extra wraps to put back on.

A Picture worth remembering to help check if it's authentic.

Anyways, $15 for a pair vs ER bills... easy choice.
