Why is this RDA not getting any attention?
I thought goon fans would be all over it.
I exclusively used goons (4 goons on 4 mods on a daily basis - gotta have versatility in juice flavors) until I tried the sleeper a few days ago. In fact yesterday I ordered 3 more Sleeper RDAs. They are to replace my goons.
My two main issues with the goon are:
My wick always tended to block the air holes. I build 3mm id coils that require hefty wicks. Well, they'd absorb juice and naturally expand - covering up the two outer air flow holes. I'd have to take off the cap and kinda gather the wick tail together every so often.
Secondly, the clamp deck. I did end up learning how to insert coils but it was always a PIA and I'd get uneven glowing coils.
Not so huge issues:
Because I like 4-6 wraps of fused Clapton builds, my coils tended to be a bit , too close for comfort, too close to the rda inner walls. I was always apprehensive about a short. This is because you have to fit the coils between the two screws on each clamp. So you're horizontally challenged & hence pushed outwards.
The Sleeper resolves all of the above.
First of all, your not limited to 3 air holes. It's got a sliding slot window thingy that you can open or shut as preferred.
Wick tails are completely away from the air flow holes - so air directly flows to coils
Build deck:
Each coil leg has a designated post - like the velocity. Such a pleasure to install coils
You're building upwards, so no issue of shorting out with walls
Plus, it's got such a deep well
I searched on here and there's no thread about it.
Did it get overlooked ?
