Raphael Colantonio, the former President and Creative Director of Dishonored-creator Arkane Studios, has set up a new development company, WolfEye Studios. He has begun the venture along with fellow Arkane veteran Julien Roby, who was the company’s former Executive Producer.
At WolfEye Studios, Colantonio takes on the role of President and Creative Director, and Roby is the company’s CEO and Executive Producer. The developer already has a project in the works, which will be announced at The Game Awards this December. While WolfEye is keeping quiet about what that game is until the announcement, it has published a teaser picture which you can see below.
WolfEye Studios aims to “create games in which players live their own adventures in rich simulated worlds that respond to actions and decisions in ways that are unique to each playthrough” according to a press release from the company. That certainly sounds like a similar mantra to that of Arkane Studios, but it remains to be seen if the developer’s first game treads close to the Immersive Sim genre line.
