Not a terribly busy week here in the final days of October, but there are a couple of notable pop culture properties making their way to TV - the soaring Supergirl and the splatter-fest, Ash vs. Evil Dead.
And while Supergirl represents a big move for both DC and CBS, it's Ash vs. Evil Dead that takes our spotlight position this week as Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi, and Rob Tapert - the OG Evil Dead trio - make their return for an all new gory adventure series featuring Campbell's thick-skulled Ash battling legions of Deadites from beyond. And the fact that the new series is on Starz assures us fans that the nasty, bloody integrity of the franchise will be kept intact.
