Aspire Nautilus Solution to Leakage and Gurgling

My experience and solution for 5ml/BVC. First off let me start by saying that, the Aspire Nautilus is the best tank/coil I've ever tried. I haven't tried much but it produces the best flavor and an amazing aftertaste that leaves a rich and sweet juice flavor on the lips. Its amazing but the gurgling leaking issue was hard for me to solve.

The first one I bought was leaking like crazy through the coil down into the base. I kept taking it apart, cleaning it out and replacing the coil. Since it was my only vape at the moment. I got really frustrated and had to endure withdrawals that night. I was probably 2 hours researching forums on how to solve the problem. The next day I exchanged it for a new one at the vape shop and also bought an istick mini 20w because I had a 3.7 cheapo EVOD Mega battery and read in a forum that leakage could be caused by low power.

The new tank I got was working great until after about a ml in and then it started leaking again. I took the whole Nautilus off the battery and set it upright just balancing it on the contact and took a nap. When I woke up about 3ml of juice leaked out from the air hole onto table.

I read somewhere that the coil should be tightened really hard so I cleaned it out and tightened the coil as hard as I could, griping the coil with a towel. Also, close the air holes when attaching the glass tank to the base (I read this somewhere but I'm pretty sure its not what helped) Since I tightened the coil really tight it was great. After about 2ml again it started to gurgle and leak, but not as bad and not to the bottom base. So I read in one of the forums that if it starts leaking turn the vaporizer sideways and with the air hole pointing downwards blow out of it while firing. I did that and I also did it so tank was upside down and the air hole facing me. I always run my battery at around 12 watts but I don't think it matters as long as its got some power. This worked like a charm and cleared up the small leakage. It wasn't leaking in the base but due to pressure sometimes it leaks up into the stem and starts to gurgle.
I blew through the hole for lets say around 2 to 6 times. while holding the firing button down for 10-15 seconds then letting it cool off and doing it again. It doesn't need to be exact because you'll feel the stem clear up also if your mod has more or less power you'll need to change how long to keep it firing. The amount of vapor that shoots out is crazy. Huge clouds that you can linger and you can inhale some big hits from it.

So that was my 2 solutions. So now every once in a while juice leaks into the stem and it starts to gurgle but the coil is so powerful that it'll evaporate most of the juice with a few of those blows I explained to you.

The two main causes for these small coil leakages are: 1. Pressure cause by sucking to hard. 2. Taking a lot of puffs during one session. 3. Pressure in the tank after it gets lower (I think) 4. Atmosphere temperature changes. I do know that there are a lot of causes to the Nautilus getting leakage and this is just my 2 solutions to the leakage that I got.

I really wish every once in a while I didn't have to clear it out like this but it's better than having to take it apart. It's a small price I have to pay for quality vaping.
