I just rebuilt my Atlantis coil for the first time, and will say 1 thing...I will NEVER buy another Atlantis coil! It was as easy as rebuilding my drip atty! It's vaping like a beast now! I have it at .41ohms and I built another one at .2ohms! Now I have to build one for the wife at a higher ohm level (she doesn't like the dragon effect, LOL!)It's just too easy! :)

What method did you use? There are several floating around on youtube, curious to see which one you chose. I wanna do my own rebuild here soon. Exciting times!

Well, Now it leaks like hell! It worked beautifully for a couple of tanks, now I can't keep juice in it! Really pisses me off, but it is what it is. I don't think I will recommend rebuilding the coils, other than re-wicking.

I will answer your question though. I built a Macro coil, 6 wraps @ .45 ohms. Like I said, it Vapes beautifully, but it is now leaking like hell and the Atlantis doesn't leak. At least it has never leaked until I did the rebuild, an I am no novice at rebuilds.

The leak is coming from the rubber seal at the bottom of the coil. I'm guessing my 24ga wire is too big for it to still keep a tight seal. Might have to go with 28ga or smaller. It was just a standard, horizontal coil.

Ok, I have figured out exactly where my leak was coming from and I have to say "user error", lol! The oring towards the bottom of the coil was missing on one, and the other coil oring was a little twisted. As of now, no leaks :) I overlooked those seals due to the fact that I just didn't know they were there. Dumb on my part :)
